Pete M Posted August 14, 2021 Posted August 14, 2021 I paid 2.75 for gas in Alabama. back home near atlanta it's 3.19ish
ComancheKid45 Posted August 15, 2021 Posted August 15, 2021 Been holding steady around 3.17 here in Pa.
MiNi Beast Posted August 16, 2021 Author Posted August 16, 2021 Paid 3.07 unleaded today. But thats 40 mins north of my main station in the city thats 3.19 to 3.29 unleaded. still don't understand, can't wait till trump is back in office next month.
Pete M Posted August 16, 2021 Posted August 16, 2021 it's complicated. stations can charge as much or as little as they want and so competition amongst themselves tends to be the big driving factor in those last 20-30 cents. in town around here is always cheaper than the boonie stations. there's just more competition in town. but there's mroe to location than that. if you drive to one of the more pricey neighborhoods near atlanta, the price goes up. then drive a few miles to a less-well-off neighbor hood and the price comes down. it's complicated.
75sv1 Posted August 16, 2021 Posted August 16, 2021 I would say $3.15 in Indiana. It was $3 to $3.10 in WV, and Western VA a few weeks back. A bit surprised that WV wasn't much higher than WV. The surprise was around Cincy. I thought I saw $2.80 or so.
gogmorgo Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Just got gas. Gross. This is getting real close to the most I’ve ever paid for fuel, and this is my gas station at home, not some sketchy backwoods boat dock in rural Oregon where I was getting some crazy high-octane boat fuel.
89 MJ Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Since I have started driving, gas is the highest that it has ever been. (I've been driving since '20 though, so not much comparison). We are somewhere around $3.45/gallon for 87 in SW WI
coolwind57 Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 $3.99 in Southern Indiana. Went up from $3.79 in one day.
The86manche Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Mobile down the road from my house, which actually has fair prices is 3.99 for 87 and I just paid 4.59!!! A gallon for diesel!!! In Massachusetts by the way Found a station About 20 minutes out that was 3.89 for diesel on Tuesday. But God only knows how much that's jumped up since then.
FrankTheDog Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Northwest Connecticut I paid $3.99 for 87. Cheapest gas I’ve seen was in the 90’s at just under a dollar.
Smokeyyank Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Filed up at Costco the other day for $3.67 for 91. Regular is about $3.30ish. I need to go to my office next week in the mountains and I know it's going to be around $4/gallon+. In laws just returned from Australia and it was $13 a gallon, filled up my brother in laws FJ cruiser and was almost $200 USD!
MiNi Beast Posted March 4, 2022 Author Posted March 4, 2022 3.89 my way. Its the coming of all. Buy some bread while you fillup. Get some extras cans filled up and stored liquid gold.
ghetdjc320 Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 3.25 here. 5.59 on Guam so I’m loving anything under $5
fiatslug87 Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 The closest station (a Chevron I never go to) was 5.49 today, Costco was only 4.45 on Monday.
DirtyComanche Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 2.009 spotted in Vancouver today. That's $7.59 a gallon. I paid 1.749 to fill up when I left work. $6.61 a gallon.

I don't really see it coming back down from this level much either, unfortunately.

There won't be any tax relief, and the supply/demand situation indicates that it should only get worse for the next year.
carolinajeepman Posted March 7, 2022 Posted March 7, 2022 Pittsburgh area is: 4.30 for regular 4.60 for premium 5.30 for diesel
mjeff87 Posted March 7, 2022 Posted March 7, 2022 Filled up the Focus at the Murphy's (outside the Walmarts) yesterday at $3.75/g for 87. Literally everywhere else is $3.99. The KJ is not coming out to play. edit: wife just texted me and said the Wawa on her way to work is now $4.15.......
