  1. I'm on a roll with this metal shaping! This is the outer lower section of the unibody rail. Lined right up damn near perfectly. This is the inner section that the cross member would bolt into. Needs a little finishing up. All in all the metal shaped really nicely. Now I need to clean them up, weld some flange nuts to the inner section and epoxy them before install.
  2. Taking baby steps but progress is progress. Took the stencils I made with sharpie and cut them out into shapes! Took them over to the metal break and bent them to shape. I'm very happy with how that turned out.
  3. I might have the tail light harness. It may take me a bit to try and find it though.
  4. It would either be a switch plate for fog lights/transmission switch(if auto) or a blank plate.
  5. I started at the rocker. My thoughts were to have the inner rocker replaced firsts there would be no working around the floor. And I can put the floor in and work it to the rocker instead. I'm leaving the outer off until the floor is burned in so I can clean up the burn marks from the welder on the inner rocker. Then put the outer panel on
  6. Hey very sharp of you! These are indeed ones that came off a sport bar! I even have the switch plate for them too! But I just used it as an example.
  7. Other nuances! The hockey puck arm rest chrome trim, including the little diamonds for the ends! Go figure mine ran off somewhere.. Those marchelle fog lights! And mud flaps!
  8. So before I pull it off just wanted to show you its condition. It had been a while since i looked at this closer. The cable does move, no binding but the retaining end for the carb doesn't have the tabs anymore. And the sheathing is a little worn. I don't know if you will find one thats really in any better shape but I just wanted to point that out in case you were looking for something better.
  9. I can pull it off for you. Been trying to sell the Trans and tcase to no luck. Will likely end up tossing it, but if there's anything else you want off it let me know.
  10. Would it be the one on my transmission?
  11. Well back to Candace again, working on that efforts of curing her of her cancer. Removing plates and cutting out the unibody rust. The cancer. Plate removed! And out unibody section removed. From there the last inner section was cut. I still have a spot to cut out. But for the most part its all been removed and I can start making my patch panels to put back in.
  12. I'm not sure if it helps you at all but the front bumper is the same as the cherokees if that helps your search at all
  13. None taken lol I never expected the first print to be perfect anyway haha
  14. Well.. first attempt was.. close. But I'm not happy about the print. Just an update for you!
  15. It has once again been a little while since ive done any progress to the truck. A lot of life has happened in a short amount of time that pulled me away from this truck. House renovations, family, travel, I lost my brother last year. Its been a lot. But I can finally say I'm back on it. Taking it slow and assessing the rust on the driver rail under the floor. Ive got my work cut out for me yet. But I have a game plan. Inside of the rail was full of old mud that had hardened to almost cement. A wonder why its so rusted inside. Peeling it back one layer at a time. Will shape some patches and put it all back soon. Still have cutting and cleaning to do.
  16. Okay! Give me some time while I make it then!
  17. So i looked at my 86 column and I understand what you are looking for now. Are you looking for original? I could probably 3D print the little piece
  18. I feel like one from an s10 could work too. Late 80s early 90s. I could be wrong but it is the same column.
  19. That i did not know, but I was just trying to understand the situation a little better is all. Some people like to pull the tank when they swap the pumps. The only thing I can think of is the vents are clogged.
  20. Vacuum, or pressure? The old pump may have just been very weak. But as far as I understand, if your truck is a 2.5, it didn't get a ballast resistor. If its a 4.0 maybe someone removed it and just connected the spade connectors together. Either way, it would quiet the pump down. Did you drop the tank to change the pump?
  21. No antenna either. And not a fan of the black header against the nice glass red rest of the truck.
  22. The bulb for the 4wd indicator could be bad or the vaccume switch on the passenger side of the firewall next to the blower motor could be bad or not seeing the vaccume it needs to trip the light. You can fairly easily add a windshield washer sensor, but you would need the tank and sensor. I think they had shift up lights for the manual mjs, maintenence light, check engine.
  23. Sounds like both the carb and timing might be off.
  24. The more i look through and read on this the more i feel like someone has swapped out the aw4 for a 3 speed and done some messing around. My two hunched are the Trans is shot, or the Trans isn't compatible with the renix setup. If the mj has a tcu then it should be an aw4. And my guess is someone didn't know how to work on or fix the Trans so they swapped a 3 speed in that they had. The kick down cable might not be compatible with the throttle body and its just not allowing for proper Trans fluid pressure and shifting.
