3.85 for regular, i'm going to get my bicycle back out.

See a few folks out here on bikes. Yes winter time and yet on bikes. They are snow bikes with fat tires. Kinda cool. Have to try one sometime. :D

Friday I got gas for $3.34. Tuesday, which was only 4 days later, $3.93. 87 octane. Ethanol is about $.25 cheaper.

There's such a thing as a winter bike? Everyone up here just rides the same one year round...

A winter bike is one with zip-ties around the wheel/tire to give it traction. :laughin:

the gas station at the corner went from 2.95 to 3.59 in a little over a month and a half...the last three days: 3.59, 3.55, 3.45

2 days ago reg was 3.25. Today it's 3.35. Diesel 3.96. Anybody notice that despite the wide variance in gas, diesel is pretty much the same?

Got a shot of one of those winter bikes today, guy says they are popular out in cali as well on the dunes as I guess they are great in the sand as well as the snow. Pretty cool.

Maybe because the only people I see riding around here are broke-@$$ students... Never seen one quite like that. Definitely no hand-warmers, although I can really see them being useful. Otherwise, fat tires on a regular bike? Do BMX's count?

well this wasn't a regular bike, it was a super lite bike without any shock system like you see on most mtn bikes around here. And the tires are fat so the forks have to be a bit wider appears. But yeah these bikes aren't cheap by no means. People love their bikes up here.

Damn, and I thought it was bad that it was about ten cents/L higher than when I last filled... Could be worse, though. I hear most places in Montreal are upwards of 1.40/L (5.30/gal) now...
