Pete M Posted October 13, 2021 Share Posted October 13, 2021 I dragged home this pile of crap. some guy's project that he started/stopped like 10 years ago. no title of course. see-through floor on teh pass side, somethigns been repainted at some point in time, and the rear bumper is quite bent and has some nasty rot shown in the pic below. came with a pair of 97+ doors and a hood that were apparently refinished eons ago but left in primer. I'm guessing the lower bits were repainted at some point, but maybe it was just this fender. but then maybe more since I see the 4x4 badges are in the wrong spot. I haven't taken a magnet to it all yet. used to have the v6 in there the cab and the bed were filled with trash. not Jeep trash, just the regular kind. I kept anything that looked like it once belonged to a Jeep. random 97+ door on this side. original hood was still around, though not attached to anything. this was the most painful to see after I dragged it out of the weeds. mangled and I can stick my finger through it. Also replaced the nasty hard lines with AN hoses and fittings which haven’t leaked yet (knock on wood). I die a little bit inside when I think about the risk I'm taking driving it in Nashville traffic. I really need another car that I don't have to worry about as much.
