Merry Everything

Good morning, all. I’m currently waiting at a terminal for the typical holiday travel that so many of us put ourselves through. I choose to go back to Minnesota each year as the rest of my family also puts the effort in to make sure we’re all under one roof again at least once a year. I’m grateful for this.

I’m also grateful for everyone here. While I haven’t posted a whole lot for a while, I’ve been around for over 13 years now. I recently was visiting my relatives where my truck has been stored for the past three years... it was like seeing an old friend. It reminded me of the bigger roles I once played here. Made me smile.

Thanks to everyone around here who continue to keep things going and familiar here. Hope everyone here has a merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, celebratory Kwanza, a good Boxing Day, or whatever else you may or may not choose to celebrate.

Best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most joyous traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, but with respect for the religious persuasion of others who choose to practice their own religion as well as those who choose not to practice a religion at all;

Additionally,

a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the generally accepted calendar year 2020, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions have helped make our society great, without regard to the race, creed, color, religious, or sexual preferences of the wishes.

(Disclaimer: This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others and no responsibility for any unintended emotional stress these greetings may bring to those not caught up in the holiday spirit.)
