I wish there were more of these builds. Is there a NAXJA like site for the Grand Cherokee ? I have only seen two lifted GC’s rolling around my area. I wish there were more. I am really happy that your sharing your project.

Busy day for me -> Picking up the CJ’s. Can no longer store them at work , so they are coming home. Good timing since my Cherokee is getting closer to being where I want it to be. I always have to be working on something. You can’t imagine all the Jeep stuff I have. Extra Comanche stuff too.

When looking for a front sway bar, try to find an up-country packaged XJ. They have a significantly larger diameter. You will need the larger sway bar bushings (I think my were the 27s, but it’s been to long to remember) unless you take the ones with the setup. I found two in the pick n pull and grabbed them both. Very hard to come by though.

Lesson here; Jeep doors are possessed! I can definitely see how this could happen. Funny now, but I am sure nobody was laughing then. If somebody could sue over hot coffee and win. I am sure a big payday was a real possibility, but I know that is not the kind of people we are

We have one of those YJ’s running around here. Sold the owner a set of steel half doors. Neat to see one set up like that.

I bought some new green bushings for the missing one on my XJ with the NP242. They sent me a crap load of them. I got them to work in my spare linkage, but the shop said they wouldn’t fit in the other spots . I can’t imagine them not working? Tell me how many you need if you decide to keep the stock set up. Free of course

That will teach to not wrench in flip flops . I think I would actually pass out, cracking my head on the work bench on my way down.
