  1. When looking for a front sway bar, try to find an up-country packaged XJ. They have a significantly larger diameter. You will need the larger sway bar bushings (I think my were the 27s, but it’s been to long to remember) unless you take the ones with the setup. I found two in the pick n pull and grabbed them both. Very hard to come by though.
  2. Never even heard of that. That is really cool! Does it bolt down? I would loved one of those. 👍🏻
  3. Dayeem ! Looks like a monster. Oooh Cummings
  4. I have never seen that! Anymore pictures of it? Like to see it from the side. Always thought I wanted to do that. Wonder if he used a two XJ and just grafted it to the Comanche or stretched the MJ to fit the doors?? Thank you for posting. Sorry for the hi jacking of the thread Doanbuilt.
  5. How cool is this going to be! I like the color scheme of the XJ. I will be following your progress.
  6. No problem. Yes, let us know your opinions on the set up.
  7. Thank you NHMJXJ for directing me here. Arguably the nicest MJ around. I can’t tell you how much I love this Comanche. Congratulations on the Comanche of the Month! Well deserved. 👍🏻
  8. Thank you NHMJXJ!
  9. Lesson here; Jeep doors are possessed! I can definitely see how this could happen. Funny now, but I am sure nobody was laughing then. If somebody could sue over hot coffee and win. I am sure a big payday was a real possibility, but I know that is not the kind of people we are
  10. We have one of those YJ’s running around here. Sold the owner a set of steel half doors. Neat to see one set up like that.
  11. I bought some new green bushings for the missing one on my XJ with the NP242. They sent me a crap load of them. I got them to work in my spare linkage, but the shop said they wouldn’t fit in the other spots . I can’t imagine them not working? Tell me how many you need if you decide to keep the stock set up. Free of course
  12. That will teach to not wrench in flip flops . I think I would actually pass out, cracking my head on the work bench on my way down.
  13. Yep, what a Jack Hole
  14. I have no words to say about this abomination
  15. That MJ is amazing! I wouldn’t change a thing

  17. You crack me up. If it comes to that point I will do it . Right now the blood is seeping out the sides of the nail. I just hope the nail grows back. 😳 your toe! We’re they able to reattach it?
  18. I am really laughing over that
  19. Geeze . Good you went right away. A lot of people just brush it off and don’t seek help. We are all glad you are ok
  20. This is going to be a fun build to watch
  21. Omg Jeff - that sounds so flipping painful! I guess if there is blood under there it should be a pocket? I would like to see the blood shoot out though
  22. Ouch! Pressing out a bearing with this thing yesterday -> And it suddenly gave way . Unfortunately I was not quick enough and it caught one of my fingers. It crushed it a bit on the steel below. Obviously it hurt, but not much pain at all since then? I am definitely loosing that nail. It is floating around on that finger Two days later -> December 24th my son pulled of the nail ->
  23. Dang, I would love to have seen that! Be careful and video tape it if you do it again
