  1. Congratulations on the axles! love how the bumper turned out BTW
  2. They cost me $47 off Amazon. I have tried everything to get the link to post on here but I am not good at that stuff. So here is all the information - I got the 4 year protection coverage on it, so just over $50. They are great just don’t know how much hey will hold up, but that’s what the protection policy. I hope that answers your questions
  3. Thank you Buck! I always think after we get together why we don’t do it more often. Great guy with a great truck! I want to take Trey up to Disney next time Pete is out there. I hope he likes kids lol.
  4. Dayeem, that is cool!
  5. I don’t know if this happens to anyone else, but every time I am exposed to a new car they show up everywhere 😂. Looks good
  6. Hmm, I hope you’re right. I am going off the info on Novak’s website. I won’t be able to take it off to check anytime soon.
  7. Love how that engine looks under the hood! Congratulations
  8. I was able to work on cleaning up the driver’s side seat this weekend. The seat is in really rough condition with the base being dingy and shredded. I have already cleaned up the passenger side seat and it looks amazing. Some time back I picked up a seat bottom out of a 4 door Cherokee, with matching interior, from the junk yard. The passenger side seat was in great great shape, so I took it home. From past experience, working on the Comanche, I knew that the bottom portion of the passenger side seat could be used on the driver’s side. It is important to get a newer year (mine was an 1994, I think) seat bottom as sometime they got rid of the seat belt holder contraption-> Later version -> I used a 1/2 inch ratcheting wrench to take off two nuts and four bolts to remove the seat from the base. Then two more bolts to get seat bottom off the frame -> The back of the seat cover, where the fabric folds over the frame is shorter than the original piece. I folded it over and used four screws in the factory punched holes to hold the stretched fabric to the seat support. It did not make that much of a difference being shorter -> Then I screwed on the latch plate and cut out the fabric with a razor blade -> I sprayed the seat down on the seat and let it sit for ten minutes while I got the pressure washer ready. Used the gentle tip and washed out the stains and 29 years of gawd knows what. Before pressure washing -> After -> First thing I noticed is that I had to adjust the rear view mirror. It sat me up a bit higher. The side bolster is really nice - keeps you sitting securely in position. Now it just has to dry
  9. Yeah, have not heard good things about Spirit.

    I'm back!

It’s good to know the Comanche Club is alway here to come back to. Good to see you on here!
  11. I am interested in finding out about this too. Mine is completely gone.
  12. Wow! Very cool.
  13. Have a safe trip back. Annual Pow Wow would be awesome!
  14. Yeah, not much snow around here . We were to busy talking about junk yardin to check them out. Jeeze, we even forgot to take pictures .
  15. I bought a transmission with a NP242 transfercase so I could have a backup 242 to rebuild. I was told it was from an 1990 XJ so I never looked at it until now. It is a 23 spline case . Does anyone have just the 21 spline input shaft they want to sell or trade for my 23 spline version?
  16. It was a good time! Forgot to thank you for the coke lol
  17. All the XJ/MJ guys at work have switched over to the LED headlights and have nothing but great things to say about them. I already have the Delta headlights in the Jeep, but even with the upgraded wiring harness, they are nothing to brag about. Plus I can’t stand the company after they would not warranty their defective product - water proof (right) off-road lights. The reflectors rusted. I did a lot of research on Amazon to find a nice set of LED headlights by Partsam. They had the ones with the cree LED’s 2500lm low beam and 5600lm high for 45 bucks. I then added the 4 year extended warranty coverage. Ended up paying a little over $50 -> I knew I would be driving to Orlando in a couple weeks for the Florida pow wow, so I wanted to have them installed before the night drive back home. Here are pictures of the installation. Goodbye Delta and your horrible quality products -> Low beams before -> After -> High beams Before -> After -> Not sure if the pictures capture the difference?? I am so glad I got these - they are amazing. I was worried that it would blind on coming traffic but was never flashed once in two hour drive. Wonderful upgrade.
  18. Just left! See you at 6
  19. Hands down my Rancho 9 way adjustable shocks. Just useless. Never can figure out what position to put them in, so always just set them in the halfway point - I think. I have the Bilstiens on my XJ and love them.
  20. You’re right, both google and Waze found the location. I am 1 hour and 45 minutes away. I will leave at 4 and that would put me there around 6pm on the top level of the parking garage. See you all then!
  21. Lol , I remember junkyard wars.
  22. I have never been to Disney Springs and I am horrible at finding locations - no sense of direction lol. Just need an address, and where we will be parking, so I can punch it into google maps. I am there!
  23. I just saw that! Went through all 7 pages
  24. Thank you. I don’t have any 91 and up
