I just hooked up my fog lights and have a question about hooking them up to the factory switch. I get them to work on the switch but the little light stays on at all times -> i have switched the white and black wires wires around and the light stays on either way -> i would love love to keep the original switch but I can’t have that light draining my battery. Anyone know what I am doing wrong or if there is nothing that can be done? I also tried the switch next to it and a completely separate assembly with the same results.

I don’t know what all is on my seats, but they look really dirty. I decided to remove the passenger seat to see what I could do to get them cleaned up and looking just a bit nicer. Before -> It took 4 bolts and two nuts to get the seat free -> I sprayed the seat down with Simple Green -> I was pressure washing the driveway, so I put the delicate tip on it and hit the seat. The run off was brown -> It has done an amazing job in getting almost all of the stains off. Just a bit of gold stain on the inner parts of the seat -> The seat went in much easier then coming out after knowing what was involved. Very happy with how it came out

I wanted to get one of these CC PowWows for as long as I have been a member here. It’s my fiancé birthday week, so I need to plan a special time for her around this. I would be driving up in the Cherokee, so I would have room for several passengers. I will be sure to set the date that we come up with in stone! This will be the highlight of my month.

No you can’t, but I may be over my head on this. I have already killed the battery trying to start it. Good thing I am taking a motorcycle course so I don’t kill myself. Never had a street bike of my own, so I may have a total of 20 minutes of actual wheels to pavement time

Karma is coming around again for me in a positive way. Went over my neighbors house today. He says he is trying to simplify his life and offered to give me first dibs on the things he is getting rid of. He has three motorcycles and I asked if he was thinking about getting rid of any. He had an 1983 Honda Nighthawk 650 sitting at the back of his shop. He said you don’t want that one as it is missing 4th gear. He has been trying to get rid of it for over a year. He is an honest guy unlike the one that sold it to him. It would cost way to much to fix it than it was worth. I told him I would like to buy it - I can skip 4th gear. Seriously; how much? He said get the #€%! thing out of here. Really?! Yep, I am over it. I can’t believe it . . . It started right up! -> Just got it home and going to change the fluids and wash/polish it up. Two great things that look great together->

Well bollocks -> I can’t see out of my backup camera when I am toting my bike around . I have said before that none of the replacement rear view mirrors work on my mounting windshield tab. I just had a great idea 💡. JB Weld up the slots for the old style mount -> I pulled out the cardboard and dremeled off the excess. It worked ! Ta-dah - the complete set up -> I really did miss the mirror. Snugged it down with the set screw and now it’s hindsight 20 spare 20!

I am getting winded walking to the mailbox, so it’s about time to find a hobby that incorporates exercise. A few of my friends have taken up riding bicycles. Specifically mountain bikes and they are really getting into shape. I don’t want to be the guy in the group that is know as the jolly one. So Bwatsoncj was upgrading his bike rack and offered his old 4 bike one to me . It is pretty stout -> and had already been extended to work on the Cherokee-> all I had to do is take 4” off the back and the last bike holder to clear the spare tire -> I tried out Fuji, Specialized, Trek, and Cannondale bikes. The $900 Cannondale was soo nice but dayeem expensive. Out of all of the others in my budget, the Trek was the best riding for me. So I picked up the Trek Marlin 5 today -> It is raining here now so I haven’t had a chance to take it out for a real test ride yet. Hopefully tomorrow the weather will cooperate.
