Is This The Holy Grail?
Drahcir495 replied to Drahcir495's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Alright! I will get with Pete to sell it to somebody on the club to raise money for this site -
I was cleaning up the garage this weekend and went through my Jeep box and found this -> Never mind Xander , he just jumped into the shot when I took it lol. I think it is the Comanche bed light switch panel? Can anyone confirm this?

I am! Wish it could have been the Comanche. Really looking forward to meeting everyone in person - already met Buck, but it will be great to see him again -

Good eye, but it’s actually an old Ford Bronco. The owner had his his daughters and dogs in the car when it caught fire. They all made it out ok, but obviously a total loss. Leak at the carb was the cause. -

Just wired up my LED fog lights -> Used an Amazon wiring harness with a relay because they are so inexpensive that it doesn’t make sense to make my own. I wanted to hook the lights up to the factory fog light switch on the dash but the little light stayed on? It did not matter if it was on the off or on position . Posted the issue I was having here on the CC and several members replied. They got it figured out for me. Just a great group of people here. The final wire positioning-> Ta-dah -> Now I just need to adjust them. These suckers are bright! -

Thanks guys . I will swap the wires and let you know how it goes. Yep there is a wiring harness back there gogmorgo. I disconnected it to pot the leads onto the switch -

You literally need a step stool to get up in it. At least we do. Haven’t seen how owner does it yet -
I just hooked up my fog lights and have a question about hooking them up to the factory switch. I get them to work on the switch but the little light stays on at all times -> i have switched the white and black wires wires around and the light stays on either way -> i would love love to keep the original switch but I can’t have that light draining my battery. Anyone know what I am doing wrong or if there is nothing that can be done? I also tried the switch next to it and a completely separate assembly with the same results.

I don’t know what all is on my seats, but they look really dirty. I decided to remove the passenger seat to see what I could do to get them cleaned up and looking just a bit nicer. Before -> It took 4 bolts and two nuts to get the seat free -> I sprayed the seat down with Simple Green -> I was pressure washing the driveway, so I put the delicate tip on it and hit the seat. The run off was brown -> It has done an amazing job in getting almost all of the stains off. Just a bit of gold stain on the inner parts of the seat -> The seat went in much easier then coming out after knowing what was involved. Very happy with how it came out -
I just got this post. I will confirm that Sunday the 13th is good and get back to you tonight. As for where to go, I am not familiar with that area.

I wanted to get one of these CC PowWows for as long as I have been a member here. It’s my fiancé birthday week, so I need to plan a special time for her around this. I would be driving up in the Cherokee, so I would have room for several passengers. I will be sure to set the date that we come up with in stone! This will be the highlight of my month.
-
Yes! Let’s keep in touch on this to finalize the date. I will start to get things in order now. I look forward to this.
-
Yeah! Just let me know when. I live a little over an hour away and buxmj is in Orlando I believe.
-
That’s steep! The picture make it look like you won’t be able to get into the garage without making it a convertible MJ
