  1. Looks like it’s so short that you actually stick out into the sidewalk. The emergency brake cable is broken on mine (never needed to fix it) so I was really nervous about it rolling back into the street!
  2. Sounds like steep driveways are so common place that pictures are not necessary lol. Just the opposite here! She had a tiny Sol thing, so I have no idea how she managed not to bottom out. Her brother in law just got a MJ. Told her he needs to get on here. It is quite shocking how many people comment on the CC banner. I am really glad I placed it on there.
  3. It’s got to make it interesting DirtyComanche
  4. How do you all get up those driveways in the winter?? I love seeing these
  5. Had to use the lockers today to climb the biggest hill in Clearwater -> I was picking up a “therapy” dog for my fiancé. Here is the package I procured lol -> He seemed right at home in the Jeep. Xander is going to flip out when he smells that another dog had been sitting in his chair
  6. Living in Central Florida we don’t really have hills. I had to scale this bad boy today and got me wanting to see some extreme driveways angles. I know some of you can top this and I want to see it!
  7. I haven’t called them yet. I want to get a picture of the containers bloated before I call. I think that is a good idea squeezing them a bit before I cap them off. I will let you know what happens.
  8. That’s it!! Thank you . I will go through my old parts bin and see if I have another connector
  9. Let me know how that works out. I am getting ready to replace mine too
  10. Oh man, I just gave away my other one to an mj owner. I will keep a lookout for one though. thanks everyone for the location. I still can’t find it but I know where to look
  11. Testing out the look of the rear tire carrier. I spent a lot of money on the Rotopaxs and brackets, and now I think I may have jumped the gun on buying them . They actually scare me because they swell up so much that I can barely get them off . I have never heard of this happening. I think I am doing something wrong? I guess I need to fill them to the point they overflow but in the Florida heat they look like the are going to burst - yikes, not safe near the exhaust. .I don’t know how often I would ever use them anyways and it always smells like gas out back. Here are the two setups -> I am stuck with them now. I think I will use them when I go on the occasional off-road adventure/road trip. They are going to be used for my lawn equipment for a while. Can’t risk the potential catastrophic failure for a “look.”
  12. Anyone have a picture of where the other end of the connector for the hood light comes out of? I can’t find mine and if I knew where in the wiring harness the other end comes out of, I could get it working -> The Jeep did come with one but was missing. The cut outs for it was in the under hood padding. Oh yeah; 1990 XJ! Thanks for the help.
  13. Second day off work and I have gotten very little done on the Jeep. I just got soaked in gas changing out the fuel filter and It did nothing to change my acceleration problem. Go quickly through first and second gears but not much after that even when I punch it. So embarrassing trying to get to 50mph and holding up traffic at 35 . I kinda completed one project - the under hood light -> Of course, I pick this up at the junk yard . It came off an 1989 XJ. It extended the full length, and to my surprise, retracted completely . It even had the bulb, and a clear plastic cover which was in great shape. My Jeep originally came with this option, but was missing? I guess because it went bad. I bolted it in -> but I haven’t been able to test it out , because I can’t find the connector for it? TBC
  14. Did not know that ! This build reminds me of all the things I had to do on mine. That was so much fun. Just feel all warm and fuzzy inside reading this . Subscribed
  15. It’s it’s the radio fuse. 15 blue. Pops as soon as I plug one in
  16. Thank you. I need to find out why that wire is blowing the fuse.
  17. Kind of a weird question, but I have lost power in my blue with white stripe wire. It powers the clocks back light and I want to know if that light stays on all the time or only when it’s keyed on? I never payed attention before getting this new clock.
  18. I was sooo hoping that the name of this project meant a wagoner front end!
  19. I guess so! It’s 90 degrees out and I have been in bumper to bumper traffic for the past 20 minutes - pegged out here -> I am pleased, but it could be too cool now 😎
