We have one Pick and pull within driving distance. I’m changing the interior fro painted black to gray. I picked some door panels and transfer case skid Clean them up and then onto the Comanche. Stripping the XJ for anything I can use.

No, it’ mmmm Got some goodies with it. A rebuilt AX15 -> external slave bellhousing-> A NP231 transfercase with a new slip yolk eliminator kit -> AX15 specific crossmember-> And a box of other brake stuff->

Drove down to get the new MJ from the shop where it’s been sitting-> We got a mile in the truck and the radiator cracked and the coolant was all over the place. Dammit. Called AAA and got it towed to the shop where the both will be towed up to my place -> I will be using the radiator off the Cherokee, so already been paid for. The interior was red but they painted it all black ->

My 200 mile tow coverage is renewing mid September. I’m working on a deal to get both Comanche’s here at the same time. It can’t come fast enough

Could not find a decent 2 door XJ to be able to swap everything over. I don’t need another money pit. A Long Bed MJ became up for sale (I actually pressured him into selling it). Again, it’s 4 hour drive away. It’s an orange 2wd truck. It comes with a rebuilt AX15 and rebuilt NP231! Not sure if it’s the external master cylinder set up? It had the red interior but somewhere along the way it was painted black. I’m going to change it to the gray color eventually. I’m going to us as much of the XJ as possible. I haven’t seen it a few years, so I only have limited idea of what it needs. I could only find a couple picture of it ->

A lot of information here. Thanks. Now, aren’t the front axles exactly the same? The reason I am bringing all this up is I maybe getting another MJ and want to swap as much of the Cherokee over as I can. Or just get another 2 door XJ and move it all over.

Will a rear XJ D44 axle bolt on to an MJ without relocating the spring mounts on the axle? I am going to spring over in the rear if it does.

Not soon enough to catch me ex getting in there and taking my vanity plates off the wall It shows the complete garage and is far enough up from the ground to bump or remove. I also put one up on the side of the house to keep an eye on the side door and most of the front

Before I go the NAJA forum, I was hoping someone knows if the interior pieces from an 1990 2door fit in an 1993 2 door XJ? Looking at getting another two door that runs and swapping everything that works into it? Also looking at another MJ

I got it in and it does have a bit of clearance but will the bolt that holds the shifter in is too long? I forgot, it’s been 12+ years since I took it apart.

Definitely a T19 with synchronized first gear. It took me a while to find one. That’s not good news. I sold the other one because it had two. What to do now?

I can’t get my Dana 300 Transfercase to mount up to my T19 transmission. This is a different xfercase and the other one went in no problem - this is hitting the side of the transmission ->

Thank you. That’s what I was not wanting to hear but I figured that. This is making my decision harder. I am looking at a 2 door XJ with a manual transmission or a 2wd Comanche with everything to make it manual 4x4.
