  1. šŸ˜†. Yeah, hanging the CJ grill in the shop I got into that. I ended up getting creative and using the original holes.
  2. Thanks for all the advice. I’m still not sure. I finally have the mechanic working on the XJ. The was the only thing I really needed fix. Now that is done, I plan on bringing it home. Not rust free and the floors are rusty. Everything is done except the engine. I have so much money into it, I will never recoup it. If I did sell it, as it was mentioned, I could get the MJ and Scrambler on the road. I should know better with juggling 4 jeeps projects. I will bring it home and mull it over. I would always dread breaking down in the XJ. She would always have something to say about it. You will have to ā€œget rid of it.ā€ Now that I’m out of that situation I have only me to answer. All I know is that selling it is a lot easier with it not being here with me driving it. Thanks again guys. I still have no idea on what I am doing
  3. Thank for the link. Great pictures Pete šŸ‘. Yeah Gonzo, they don’t look comfortable but it’s mainly a conversation piece. I have no carpentry skills, so it would be a challenge to build. I will search for a kit but I now know a blueprint is available.
  4. Has anyone built one of these tailgate bench seat -> I have no experience creating anything out of wood. Do you think it’s possible for a guy with no woodworking skills to attempt it. I also should look into somebody who can do it for me? I would probably pay for the kit if it is being made out there
  5. Wow! I have so many questions . Well-deserved MJOTM
  6. Congratulations on getting MJOTM! The fender came out good
  7. Help me decide if I should keep the XJ? I no longer have someone beating me up to sell it. If I keep it I’ll have 3 jeeps and the explorer. I have everything I wanted for the MJ but I would still need a paint job. Selling the Cherokee would (hopefully) give me the cash I need to finish both the Scrambler and the MJ. I don’t know. The XJ also was breaking down and I dreaded have my wife finding out about it and then telling me to get rid of it. I can’t decide on what to do?? As soon as I get it home, I can drive it as my DD and figure out its reliability.
  8. Thank you - it is a massive relief.
  9. The paperwork is signed. My divorce is over - just need the courts to sign off on it. I got 50/50 custody - no alimony and no more "I'm taking my son to Wisconsin" threats. Can't take my home either - (I bought the place while I was still married, so it could have been a joint asset). And all the jeeps are mine . I have to go pick up the XJ here asap. Just want him to put the door pins in and I will get it home. He said he is on it. If it makes the 4+ hours drive, I will use my AAA membership to get the Comanche towed with the one time 200-mile one time tow. I can't imagine how much that would be otherwise.
  10. Still no MJ. The guy at the Jeep place said he was going to start working on the Jeep this week. Riiiggght - going to be three years in April. All I really need him to do is replace the door pins on the sagging drivers door of the XJ. I can’t drive it because it’s almost impossible to shut. As soon as Lisa gets her stuff out of the garage I can bring the Jeeps home. Meanwhile - put up my bikes on holders that allows to bikes to swing out to the sides saving space -> Then I hung up my fishing rod and new ladder-> Finally able to hang up the Rubbermaid fast track system->

    Hello

    Glad you joined
  13. Dang! Hard to believe.
  14. Not sure about the placement but for now it’s out of the way -> This was the best spot for the tailgate->
  15. Welcome! You will find a lot of information here. People on here rare ready to help you along the way. Don’t hesitate asking questions.
  16. Found some bike hangers while unpacking the garage. I figured if I hang them up above the tool box I would have the perfect spot to hang my Wagoneer grill assembly ->
  17. Welcome - it is a good looking truck. That bumper is very nice. I have no fabrication skills, so I’m impressed!
  18. Love the hidden winch bumper. Congratulations
  19. What a great looking truck - congratulations on MJOTM
  20. The hight of the Napa boxes unintentionally worked out. They are just tall enough to fit metal shelving underneath it. I had two Husky pegboards that I mounted to the back to hold my pegboard bins. The boards are just a few inches wider than the shelf, but you can’t tell when it’s set in place -> Then I went to find a spot for the CJ hard doors to hang. It had to be stout to hold the weight. Used a section of 2x6ā€ wood painted silver and used 4 angle brackets held up with 4 screws each. Drilled the hanger in with several screws to secure it -> It sits around 5ā€ off the floor. If ever did fall it wouldn’t have far to fall.
  21. Your interior is Very nice
  22. Got this bad boy home today ->
