Hey guys. I am looking for new horn options for the XJ. I am not looking to get one of those train horns, just something to let them know I am here. I would like to know what you all are using and what you recommend. I am missing the one wire for the factory horn button some where in the steering column, so I have nothing right now.

Today is the last day I wave at a new JK. I have been waving at them for weeks just seeing if I get a wave back. Nada. I will not wave anymore. I Could see if the lifted ones wave, but I doubt a lil old XJ is not a real Jeep

I wave at at all the new jeeps without getting 2% to wave back. But I am in a Cherokee? Hate the angry eyes, but I still wave. I feel bad, but I only wave at the lifted Grand Cherokee’s.

Nice progress. I did the heat gun trick on my fenders to bring them back to black, but they seem to be fading again. I love the SEM products. I will have to check out their trim black paint Where did you get the under hood pad?! I want one of those to replace my raggedy one.

How does it drive/handle? We have an old white CJ5 driving around here and it has patches of surface rust in several areas. I think it is just the coolest. Thats why I love the primer patches on yours. Don’t change it lol

You the man! I may be pm’ing you. It’s just the outer tips that are bent if that matters? What about putting it in the lathe to spin it to look for any wobble? Would that work?

Just a little frustrated. Short story; new fan shroud hit my fan and bent the ends of the blades -> I hope you can tell from the pictures. Can I bend them back without throwing it out of balance or is it best to just get a new one? Just looking for a piece of mind, so I don’t constantly worry about it 👍🏻

Man, this just sucks. Driving home I hear a horrible noise that I thought was coming from the passenger side wheel well. It quickly stopped, so now I think I blew a belt out. Or worse the harmonic balancer. Pull in and looked at the wheel well and all good there. Now I was dreading what I was going to find under the hood. Apparently, a bolt came out of the fan shroud holding it in. It bit it quick-> The fan blades are tweaked -> Going over to tech to see if they can just be put back close to where they were, or do I have to get new. At least it didn’t further damage my leaking radiator. I just got the new shroud though
