  1. This. Below the front bumper.
  2. Yes it should. It should also have a body colored air dam. The passenger headlight bezel is also damaged. Just minor points, but they may help someone with negotiation.
  3. They do have a great look!
  4. Fair enough. That's why I am saying to put the XJ Wagoneer front end on your MJ, then you will still have space for the J truck.
  5. As of now, I am leaning towards the 2 door. Ya know, it would be pretty cool if you put an XJ Wagoneer front end on your truck and then put the woodgrain down the side of it. Then it would be a chick magnet for sure! Or something like that.
  6. Interesting, I did not know that. I had always been taught that it was pronounced like Willy, with an "S" at the end. Thanks! Although, I'm sure it will still offend someone.
  7. Interesting. I need to button up my blue one and make my Ugly Truckling run and drive (and sell it) before buying an XJ. I'm still going back and forth between getting a 2 door XJ and trying to find a MT MJ.
  8. Some day, hopefully!

If only there was a device you could pick up to talk to them.
  11. I love the stripes that came on the 86s. I want an 86 just to get the stripes and all of the weird AMC goodness.
  12. That's too bad. It's horror stories like these that are my reasoning for having older vehicles that are easier to work on. I just don't trust any shop to do any work on my vehicles. Looks like its going to be a PITA to remove too. What are you going to put back in it? I really like the Raptor liner in my truck.
  13. Just throwing this thought out there-It looks like this truck has had a poor repaint. The bottoms of the rocker panels aren't painted and you can see the runs on the rocker. That said, it looks like a very solid and a good driver quality and usable Jeep as is.
  14. I put an AAL in the rear of my blue truck to lift it a couple of inches. I would say it rides better than a JKU. I'd go so far as to say it rides better than my GF's car. These are a pretty smooth riding truck, IMHO. If you don't cheap out on suspension parts, then I think you will retain a good, smooth ride.
  15. I just read this whole build thread. Your attention to detail on the things that you did to this truck is amazing!
  16. Do you know what caused that? Improper prep or not cleaned thoroughly?
  17. I freaking love it.
  18. One screw removed, only a bunch to go.
  19. Yeah, I'd say most of them are probably lost at this point.
  20. We're 10 pages into this. All of the screws are loose.
  21. Sounds sweet. On to page 10.
  22. It was super cold here in early Feb. It's crazy how high the prices of materials are. We were going to rebuild a retaining wall this year, but decided not to due to the costs of it.
  23. We also say "yous guys", we call people from IL "FIB"s (F***ing Illinois Bastards), the upper penninsula of MI the "UP", "Uff-da" instead of darn in a case where you are saying "Uff-da, I didn't realize that your ma passed", "Cripes" instead of darn or dang in an instance like "for cripes sake!", "c'mere" instead of come here "you betcha" which roughly translates to you're welcome or of course, real quick once (added to pretty much any sentence if you want someone to do something now), and we ad "or no" to the end of every question. I could go on and on with our quirks.
  24. Apparently, only people in the midwest say Ope. Like "Ope, let me just squeeze right past ya" is a legit sentence that everyone here says, or "Ope, scuse me, sorry 'bout that"
  25. That thought crossed my mind Don't say that! That shows white privilege! (I was extra heavy on the sarcasm there)
