Might as well get a rebuild kit and an AX-15 while you're at it--no sense in replacing the head gasket twice. I'd just wait and either swap it when you hit 400K with your rebuild or rebuild it when the head gasket goes out.

I don't think it would be worth doing that, I think most of us do not have IG. I do follow this team on FB too.

Just seeing this now. I gotta keep you on your toes! It will probably change again come spring. OP, I feel like we need to see more pictures of this beauty! -

I love the Raptor liner in my truck. It's done its fair share of truck stuff (hauling wood, golf clubs, band equipment, and 2 sets of GTO doors) and it still looks very good, it has a couple of scuffs from being used, but when you consider what I have hauled, I think that it looks excellent still.- 798 replies

I'm curious as to why they took pictures of the truck wet. You can see that the roof and topper are wet in some of the pictures and parts of the engine bay look wet as well, along with the water that has dripped on the ground. It being wet just brings up a lot of questions in my head. Maybe it was just dirty, but why was such a nice truck so dirty? It doesn't look like it was used a lot. I would be willing to guess that this truck isn't as nice in person as it looks in the pictures--look at the Jeep lettering on the mudflaps. Also, the bottoms of the hood in all of my trucks have been painted, but mine were all build under Chrysler's ownership so maybe not painting all of the bottom of the hood was an AMC thing or this one just didn't get painted under the hood all the way. I'm also curious about the firewall--it just seems to show a lot of wear on the paint and the hardware--maybe that part just didn't get wet for the pictures. -
Camper/MJ tow rig, if money were no object.

They probably spent too much time in the shop to get used like trucks. -
It doesn’t sit quite right in the bed—yet

Which floor jack shouldn’t I be trusting? The front one or the rear one? I have since wisened up about jack stands.

Says the guy who wouldn’t get an AX-15 when it was cheap to swap into his AUTO truck On a side note, I don’t think my Sportbar is true and straight. The fit just seems...off. But it was also -5 today, so I wasn’t going to look at it a ton while it’s in cold storage. Once it gets up in the 20s or 30s, I will start looking at it some more.

Well, yes, even the blue truck still has a long road ahead before it is truly going to be finished. His wife didn’t want a manual.

For now it does, but I still have work to do on that one. I will also likely be picking another truck up in the springtime.

That was the plan, but he bought a Jeepster instead.

I love the rage fillers. I used both Extreme and Ultra on my truck.

I’ve paid less for a better truck up here in the rust belt, pus Igor a bunch of extra parts. That said, I don’t think that truck is too far off in price. I think you would be doing OK if someone got it for $1800. -
I’m deep enough in my truck that pretty much everything is new! Rylee, you can buy a new flywheel and new clutch stuff all for less than $150 off of Rock Auto IIRC.

It’s going to be cool! Hopefully you can see it someday in person.
