That truck is not a short bed. 86s were long bed only. It is very difficult to put a 4.0 in an 86. @eaglescout526 is the 2.5 guy.

Here is something I saw at an automobile museum in Kenosha in 2016. The 5 millionth 4.0 with all of the factory workers signatures on it.

Does your state require inspection/emissions testing? You can delete the EGR if there aren't any inspections.

I would love to be able to go, but I doubt I will be able to make it, I'm not sure when school will be starting back up and I'm sure I will be busy working, especially if we go to the All Breeds Jeep show at the end of July. I will add it to the calendar though!

Do you know why the Libby is going into limp mode?

It's been getting warmer up here in WI. Today's high is 27 and Tuesday is supposed to be 43 (then it goes back down to the higher 30s) . Hopefully I will get the MJ out of storage and start driving it and work on it some more. Maybe I will test fit the front skid plate tomorrow and maybe even drill the holes for the sportbar so I can get both of those powder coated soon.

Well, the blue truck is sticking with me (I'm kinda glad to be honest) so this truck won't be getting a full restoration, but I will still make it run and drive. Its been getting warmer, so hopefully I will be able to get to work on it again in a month or so. I also put the topper on this truck for now so it is out of the way.

That is a beautiful truck! That was an amazing find.

It would be really cool to use an MJ to tow that trailer. Hopefully someday.
