  1. Well, yes, even the blue truck still has a long road ahead before it is truly going to be finished. His wife didn’t want a manual.
  2. For now it does, but I still have work to do on that one. I will also likely be picking another truck up in the springtime.
  3. That was the plan, but he bought a Jeepster instead.
  4. Mock up
  5. His YouTube is Overtime Garage
  6. Here is much younger me.
  7. I love the rage fillers. I used both Extreme and Ultra on my truck.

    Spanish?

    Maybe @elycomanche

    Spanish?

Message sent, hopefully I can help.
  11. I’ve paid less for a better truck up here in the rust belt, pus Igor a bunch of extra parts. That said, I don’t think that truck is too far off in price. I think you would be doing OK if someone got it for $1800.
  12. I’m deep enough in my truck that pretty much everything is new! Rylee, you can buy a new flywheel and new clutch stuff all for less than $150 off of Rock Auto IIRC.

    Spanish?

Hablo español in poco. Tengo una class de españo, pero no soy muy bien a la class de español.
  14. It’s going to be cool! Hopefully you can see it someday in person.
  15. Just about everything from the doors forward on these trucks are the same as an 84-96 XJ, but 97+ parts can be used with some work. Welcome to the forum!
  16. No deep pockets here! I just don't have many adult responsibilities yet and I love preventative maintenance. My RockAuto order was over $300 for my engine swap and I was replacing parts that were still ok, but I replaced them because it was easy.
  17. That's a metric ton of money! That said, I would have about $30,000 in mine if I had to pay for labor and I just have a stock 4.0.
  18. This is so relatable. Every other person combined (my godmother, godfather, dad, and mother) have not put 20 miles on my truck in the time that I have owned it. I have put about 5,000 miles on it.
  19. Any updates on the truck?
  20. If the issue is only when the engine is hot, I would be willing to bet that the starter is on its way out. Because everything expands when the engine gets hot, the starter might not have enough power to turn it over. This is why the GM 327 had a hi-torque starter back in the 60s.
  21. I'd personally replace it all. Do it while its easy.
  22. There definitely is! He just needs to source a slightly less rusty bed and then he should have just about everything he needs to begin working on it.
  23. Here is the plan for the yellow truck for now: Black Honcho stripes White wagon wheels AX-15 swap 4.56 gears We are hoping to get it done for the All Breeds Jeep Show in July, but we won't tear into it until it starts to get warmer out. Lots of long nights and weekends are ahead of us!
  24. What sized lift did you go with?
