Good to know! Thank you! Quick tip on insurance. Currently, my truck does not have a stated value on it and we take the road insurance off of it for the winter. Getting a stated value on it though will reduce the overall yearly insurance, get better insurance on it, but I won't be able to take insurance off of it. You may want to look into getting a stated value-especially when you paint it, that way, if something happens to it, you will get more for it.

I haven't owned one newer than me either-and I never plan to. MJs for doing truck things and an XJ for the family hauler. -
RIP. Maybe he could be your copilot for this adventure! That also looks like a great place to wheel! Thanks for the suggestion!

Valid point. You're close too! You coming? Seriously though, if you can get your truck done, I hope to see you there!

Between a 33 year old Jeep, a 37 year old Jeep, and a 61 year old Ford, I would say that will be a pretty common thing for you. But, I'd rather drive something old that can be fixed easily than any of the new cars on the road! -
Noted and added to the bucket list

How about this one? https://sketchpad.pro/

I think I'd pass on that one. It would be cool to watch someone climb though! See ya there?

Well, that would be Fiat, not Ford, but: Fail On Race Day (or First On Race Day) Found On Road Dead Fix Or Repair Daily Freaking Old Rebuilt Dodge (or Datsun) I actually don't mind Fords, believe it or not. -

Do you know what Ford stands for? -
You just about had me sold on CO, now you are tempting me with Moab!

That looks fun, not very difficult, but a little nerve racking with how narrow the trails are-I like it!

But at least we have....well....ummmmm.......hmmmmm...corn! At least we have corn!

I think my original tailgate (not the blue one) has the original dealership badge on it. I may either need to put that back on it or maybe I can get one from my work...
-
Well, that answers that . Is that your 2 door XJ or you with the JK in the picture? I wish I lived somewhere that had cool trails. SW WI has nothing.

You could try using a blow gun and disconnect both ends of the hose and trying to use the air pressure to blow out the gunk. Do that then hook it back up with some Seafoam in the tank and you should be back in business! -
Those are some AMAZING views! It also looks like my MJ could handle that. Thank you for the pictures!

Wowza! That is VERY pretty! Thank you! The bigger Jeeps aren't looking for super challenging things, more so just a getaway for a week or so to do some wheeling. As of now, I think we are planning on 2021 summer, but I'm sure it will come down to how much progress my dad makes on the cars in his shop and the All Breeds Jeep Show. If he makes a lot of progress and the ABJC is cancelled, we will probably go for sure, if he gets lots done and the show is still on, we still might go wheeling. Lots of variables, but we are getting ideas together anyways. Get your truck driveable and come with us!

Looks like a solid day or two of work-if everything goes well. Seafoam would help with your fuel line fun. -

Its really close to being driveable then! That's great! If I were you, I could buy a can of Seafoam Engine Tune and pour it in the gas tank. It will help to clean the fuel lines, carb, and combustion chamber. It will also keep the gas from going bad as quickly-that's what we put in our vehicles for winter storage and haven't had an issue. -
My family is talking about going out west at some point next summer to do some wheeling. We would likely be going with a friend who has a Gladiator. I will give you a breakdown of the details of each vehicle and I am hoping some of you have recommendations for places to go with these vehicles. 1. 89 Comanche 4.0, AX-15, 3" lift, 31s, D30, 8.8, 4.10 gears (my blue truck) 2. 95 YJ 5.3, 5 speed, SOA, 35s, D30, 8.8 4.10 gears 3. 2020 JT Mojave 37s and D44s Knowing that about each of those vehicles, where do you recommend we go? We are thinking Ouray, Moab, or????
