  1. Media blast it. That is the right way to fix it, just be careful not to warp the metal.
  2. Interesting. I will be taking a closer look at it today and updating with the route I will be going.
  3. Thanks for the tips, I will probably be crawling under it more today to look at the rear mounting points.
  4. Being a storage unit for my other MJ parts.
  5. That is probably what I am going to be doing. I just tossed some hardware we had laying around in the front temporarily. I’m excited to be installing this—it should be pretty neat and maybe I’ll get it on some trails (once I build some sliders).
  6. I started test fitting my front skid plate. Hopefully I will get it and the sportbar powdercoated soon.
  7. Lift them up and there is a little tab that you pull out near where it attaches to the wiper transmission.
  8. Thank you! My Eagle Project was building removable inserts that the fire department will be able to cut for a roof ventilation training prop. Thank you! Thank you! It was a lot of work for sure! Already done Thank you!
  9. Thank you, Pete! Thank you! Thank you! Maybe we will have to hit some trails on the way to the All Breeds Jeep Show...
  10. Thank you!!
  11. I don’t think the Napier flares would look good body color. I do love body colored Notch flares though.
  12. Thank you!
  13. Thank you! I feel like I’m part of the cool kids club now.
  14. I love the colors! It definitely gives it an old-yet modern look!
  15. I just became an Eagle Scout tonight!
  16. Glad to hear you went new with the clutch parts.
  17. The metal is stretched and it now. I don’t think that you would ever be happy with it if you did. I know you are on Guam, but I think your best bet would be finding a good original one.
  18. It's a little ironic for sure
  19. That was my next thought, I haven't been under my other truck enough to notice the rockers and my blue truck had been painted like 4 times before I stripped it and started over. It could be a 5 spoke rim, but I think I see the holes for the actual wheel (the 10 holes) and the holes for the lug nuts.
  20. That's too bad. I've always preferred going into brick and mortar stores. I'm just too old school for my own good.
  21. Compared to me, its ancient . The old TV shows that came out before my time were some of the best though. (Dukes of Hazard, Beverly Hillbillies, Starsky and Hutch, Knight Rider, etc.)
  22. I say this all the time. It goes over most people's heads. Its a little sad. Maybe I need to work on my impressions, or stop quoting old TV show lines.
  23. I also have extremely high standards for paint/bodywork. They do deserve credit for getting the door jambs. Considering that the engine bay is also red, could it be that the factory didn't get paint on the bottoms of the rockers? It does have an Eliminator 10 hole wheel as the spare.
  24. Cripes alfrighty! That's a pile of money for that thing. It has the wrong cab and grille for starters, plus its rust.
  25. I'm looking forward to your build thread on it. With all of your spare time and money, right?
