That is probably what I am going to be doing. I just tossed some hardware we had laying around in the front temporarily. I’m excited to be installing this—it should be pretty neat and maybe I’ll get it on some trails (once I build some sliders).
Thank you! My Eagle Project was building removable inserts that the fire department will be able to cut for a roof ventilation training prop.
Thank you!
Thank you! It was a lot of work for sure!
Already done
Thank you!
The metal is stretched and it now. I don’t think that you would ever be happy with it if you did. I know you are on Guam, but I think your best bet would be finding a good original one.
That was my next thought, I haven't been under my other truck enough to notice the rockers and my blue truck had been painted like 4 times before I stripped it and started over.
It could be a 5 spoke rim, but I think I see the holes for the actual wheel (the 10 holes) and the holes for the lug nuts.
Compared to me, its ancient . The old TV shows that came out before my time were some of the best though. (Dukes of Hazard, Beverly Hillbillies, Starsky and Hutch, Knight Rider, etc.)
I say this all the time. It goes over most people's heads. Its a little sad. Maybe I need to work on my impressions, or stop quoting old TV show lines.
I also have extremely high standards for paint/bodywork. They do deserve credit for getting the door jambs. Considering that the engine bay is also red, could it be that the factory didn't get paint on the bottoms of the rockers?
It does have an Eliminator 10 hole wheel as the spare.
