  1. That is going to be HUGE!
  2. Welcome to the forum! Looks like it will be a move truck to build.
  3. Putting an HO flywheel in a Renix.
  4. We took inventory of the moldings. It looks like we only need to find two. We have several of most every other molding though!

    You do
  8. Tightening all of the lugnuts helps. We almost lost a wheel on my Dad’s YJ when it was stock. We 3 of them in the road. The other two were gone forever.
  9. How about driving your Jeep for 5,000+ miles without an air filter.
  10. Long ad warning! It looks nice, but it doesn't have the Comanche fender badges, is a 2wd (probably a base or a Sportruck), and has crappy pics and an even crappier description. https://losangeles.craigslist.org/ant/cto/d/rare-88-comanche/7280497436.html No VIN listed
  11. Here is the link: https://corvallis.craigslist.org/cto/d/blodgett-4x4-jeep-comanche-locked-and/7292436509.html You can see that the truck was painted together when you look at the engine bay pictures. I have a hard time believing that this truck will bring the money, but it only takes 1 person with a pile of cash.
  12. It seems to have a lot of the right parts, but it seems like all of the money and the pictures leave a little to be desired. VIN: 1J7FJ26L4KL412957
  13. The ad says no rust. 4.0, Auto, 4x4. Seems like it would be a good project for someone, if the no rust claim is true. https://cfl.craigslist.org/cto/d/lake-placid-jeep-comanche/7290570574.html

I really wish that any of my three trucks had had one, but so far, I am 3 and 0. Although, I haven't pulled the dash out of my blue truck yet, so there is hope!

I blame Chrysler for screwing up the codes. I wish we could know what options these trucks really had.
  16. Very cool! I love these old school buses. What year is it? Does it have the GMC 305 V6 (or the V12 that was 2 V6s put together) or does it have some sort of diesel?

If you look very closely, it had the OEM wagon wheel style steel wheels, but now it has a different OEM steel wheel. Looks like they went from the 8 hole wagon wheels to the 10 "rectangle" hole steel wheels. I think @eaglescout526 had the white wheels on his Little Red when he first got it.

Looks like a great truck to do stuff with! It has come a long ways from its selling dealership. What are your plans with it?
  19. WI has these and Kwik Trips on just about every street corner in the state.
  20. I love 5 Guys burgers. Although even 5 Guys doesn't beat one of the bars in my town . My default out-of-town restaurant is Chik-Fil-A though.
  21. This is the way. I'm sure @MiNi Beast would confirm this. Careful though, there are a lot of bolts that hold in the transmission. Those are like screws, but different. On a serious note, the top two bolts that hold the engine to the transmission are are royal PITA to remove.

    Tilt column

Believe it or not, shipping steering columns is fairly easy. I've had to do it a few times at work. I would recommend taking off the tilt column adjuster handle thing and the turn signal stalk, then it will fit in a regular box. I want to say we were able to ship 3 (for 63 Impalas) in one box from WI to CA for $75.

That would be a fun adventure for sure! Be sure to keep us updated.
  24. Indeed. It should handle like a go kart too.
  25. Even if I am just moving a trailer in the driveway, the tongue gets latched, chains hooked up, breakaway brakes attached, and the lights get hooked up. Every time.
