I spotted another gold MJ today on I-70 through Frederick MD.  We waved at each other.  He took the Route 15 exit north.

Looked like it had the 10 slotted grill - 87 or 88?

I'm a Civil Engineer and I discovered today that one of my reference books has drawings of Jeeps in it! 21 slot grille and everything. They are XJs, but close enough.

Any of the owners on here?

I asked and I know that 2 of the 3 ('89 and the '91) aren't.  I don't think the 3rd ('87) is.  He'd parked on the side of the road with an ambitious price for an AX-5, 2.5 2WD with 177K and a rattle can paint job ($8K).

Usually none. I've driven on trips for thousands of miles without seeing another. There is one an employee  at the local O'Reilly who drives one everyday and I know of a few others in town that I rarely see.

We travel a lot and it's funny how many XJ's we will see in certain areas and how few we will see in others.

We're getting ready to hit the road in the MJ again, we will see if we run into any this time.

A sad one.  Final resting place is at Pick-N-Save in Rustburg, VA.  She took a hard hit.  Other than rockers & cab corners not too much left work taking.

That's too bad, a very good looking Pioneer in a great color.

I see 2 or three around here, one is always parked off Hwy 542 / Sunset Drive, the others are a white and a red 2wd models. All of them are long beds. I am usually going the opposite direction as they are and MJ drivers don't seem to do (or get in return ) the "Jeeper Wave" so I'm not sure they know I am in an MJ as well.

Caught this guy yesterday in Castle Rock, CO.  By the outlet mall.

I was in my daily driver and didn't get a chance to compliment his truck.

There is one pictured in Hagerty's Magazine this month. Its owner is in TX. Also, they did an article on the XJ. How it changed the auto world.

A friend sent me these pictures, somewhere near Spokane Washington. I’ve never seen a driving one here in Ohio, other than mine.

Saw one yesterday at the menards one illinois Rd in fort wayne. I was working so no time to wait or try to locate the owner. 20260504_090425_HDR.jpg.02598224ca5134b2d15681ae11f9a95a.jpg20260504_090421_HDR.jpg.936ae3535ce8570ebe685129d73812c8.jpg20260504_090410_HDR.jpg.b5f078b855796005dbaff579d4153f3c.jpg

Saw a second one today on coliseum blvd. near glenbrook. No pics as I was driving. It was dark colored with a white ring around the beveled section of the tailgate.

very interesting, sadly, I rarely see them annually, so I'm gonna say 0, but where are you, austrailia, your pictures are upside down

It's been a while since I've seen one, but I did spot one in a random driveway the other week. I literally slowed down enough to look and see if it was a Comanche (It was). I then pointed it out to my girlfriend who was in my gladiator (The new one) with me out of excitement and she couldn't understand why I was excited at seeing one. The addiction is genuinely strong with these trucks.

I'm in Indiana. Definitely no kangaroos here except the zoo. The forum has always been a little screwy with pics. Admins will fix it if they see it usually.
