  1. On that topic, When the previous owners swapped over a cherokee interior (I documented this on my build thread) a lot of the fasteners for dash and interior are now missing. Is there a kit that widely includes all the fasteners for the MJ's Interior?
  2. I communicated with the glass company and their technician and all the confusion they had seems to be cleared up. So hopefully all's well that ends well.
  3. Just so I have my head on straight, There is no difference between the windshield glass 86-01 The one piece rubber I got from Crown does not need any metal trim holding it on The windshield should be bonded with the molding with a urethane adhesive
  4. That's what I thought, unfortunately for me they are the only installer so I'll be sure to let them know what they need to do. This whole mess between 5 different glass companies on top of Safelite being fickle about the thing has been a massive headache.
  5. Update, I have the rubber moldings for the windshield, I found a company to do the glass which was the appointment this morning. I'm out of town and get a phone call that the tech needs the clips which hold the molding on, me not being knowledgeable enough I figured I'd ask you all if you know where to get them or if there exists another solution.
  6. Do any of you guys have a part number for the rubber seal? I found an installer for the windshield and they want me to order the gasket/seal.
  7. Despite already breaking the first one they had got in and then going to the appointment and holding up their hands.
  8. Update: Safelite would not install a newer 97+ Cherokee glass into my 89 MJ. They said it’s the wrong year and don’t want to do anything about it.
  9. Did Jeep change the style of lens for the sport gauges with the tach and the full set of readouts from 89 to whenever they changed to the new interior?
  10. It’s Anvil, jeeps own color. I used the paint code from its first release edition circa 2013. Anvil is a blue-ish grey so your eyes aren’t wrong. My gladiator is the same color although newer and they do have a slight difference in color but you really have to look.
  11. Updated pictures of the progress, everything is painted and wiring is up on deck, along with other small things.
  12. Hi all, Have an interesting dilemma, I need all new rocker switches for my MJ, It's now a manual instead of automatic and will have KC's on the sportbar and for fog lights. That being said I need some switches for those and other things. Are the later style TJ/XJ switches the same size roughly. The new dash I have has the block off plates which probably can just be cut to accomodate the size, but I figured asking would be more helpful.
  13. I have this taken care of, thanks all for your help.
  14. Hi all, after doing more digging it would appear that I need some of the plates to block off all the EGR stuff that’s getting deleted, I noticed Boxyjeep had some on his stow which are now gone? Hopefully I’m not hallucinating on that. Anyways if people have some lying around or know where I can get some made or if I’m on my own anything is appreciated.
  15. It’s alright, I have my bed fully stripped now so I’m just going to put a different liner in it. Thanks for the reply though.
  16. Keep trying, there is another method of emailing Jeeps badge of honor email or their phone number. Miraculously mine started working after multiple re-openings of the app, best luck
  17. Hope everyone survived the No Connectivity Apocalypse, got the MJ signed up and my badge requested
  18. Hi guys, since my MJ is no longer subject to emissions (has been for awhile) what’s involved with deleting the EGR system, as per my build page the engine is out and painted and I have the later style exhaust headers. I also have a later downpipe from a Cherokee to go with the headers so any advice for the exhaust past the downpipe would be helpful. Thanks.
  19. Update: The 4.0 got some new parts as well as the newer valve cover. Engine was also painted in Cummins Beige and looks really good IMO.
  20. Update, I have acquired factory door sill plates and a factory Metric Ton badge, I successfully attained the badge for $25. A very good haul.
  21. Hey guys, attached are some harnesses I’m needing, mine are incredibly damaged or modified. Photos of what I need, mainly the interior body and taillight harness.
  22. Thank god I’m converting to the open system, best wishes with your overheating issue.
  23. Is there a technical document relating to the measurements of the plate that someone has done? I need to make a custom plate and it would save time, otherwise I’ll measure the plate I have.
