  1. Wow! Outstanding work on the rust and that engine... That is a deal...you might be able to part it out to get your money back...unless you plan to stash a lot of parts... Was it an auto or manual trans?
  2. I look under every Cherokee and Comanche to see if I find a 44...you never know if any of the stock vehicles has had axle swaps.... I even spin the wheels to try and find a trac-lok or a locker
  3. I think I just got a stomach virus... But I don't understand how they already had a great concept from the jk wrangler and had to mess it up with this...
  4. Nope...most shops worry about your toe and steering wheel.... If you go to a true known jeep shop they'll know what needs to be done for a correct alignment.... Great progress by the way! Love the look of the bumper and Baja claws...sick!
  5. Nice!!!! I'm searching for another 1 myself... If it's comes for the right price to...
  6. Nice! It's coming along good... I've never seen one of these before
  7. $30...
  8. ALL THE TIME!!! It's so frustrating when guys swear it's a Cherokee!!!
  9. Upick yard here is $230 with core... And junk yard "credit" if returned...same as above with Unknown condition
  10. That front bumper would be BOSS! I miss mine that I gave away with a trade.... Maybe make one with a hidden winch option? Everyone wants a hidden winch option....
  11. Nice build.... Someone mentioned this swap the other day....
  12. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f12/need-advise-converting-external-slave-cylinder-1321313/
  13. On the 97 its electrical.... Did the transmission come with the clutch fork and clutch fork clip? Edit- just read on a thread on jeep forum that you can use a clutch kit from a 97+ xj with the 2.5
  14. No electrical..everything bolts up... Your going to have to switch your mechanical speedo over to the transfer case... You have to also buy the clutch master cylinder and external slave set for the clutch...they sell a prebled kit You have to use a clutch kit for your year truck... Then driveshafts have to be made or (shortened or lengthened) front and rear....
  15. That's the way I do it......I guess it's all where your located...and how much in need are people selling their jeeps...South Florida is minimum $500-600 because that's what are jys offer
  16. The differences is not that much between the nv3550 and ax15...it's all really what you can get your hands on... The rock trac transfer case should fit on the nv3550 and ax15... Not too sure about the nsg370...you can google and try your luck....for swap and transfer case
  17. Nv3550 can fit on your Comanche... 1 member has done it here...
  18. Nothing else but original looks good...but to save a set of originals over some I can bash in I'll take that any day of the week....Looks good just needs some lights in there...
  19. It's the same size bushing for the upper control arm as the axle side...
  20. http://comancheclub.com/topic/31891-ax15-differences/ You can compare your bell housing to the one in this thread...
  21. Unfortunately they don't make the complete harnesses anymore. You would have to match and make your own at the auto parts store... They do sell the parts needed to make the harnesses
  22. Suprised the 35 hasn't blown up...but a Dana 30 can take some serious abuse... Dana 30, 29spline 8.25(auto locker rear) 4.10s on 38s.... He blew up his Dana 35...
  23. Unfortunately no.... But I want a 4.0...the time/money/space for a swap is just not worth it.... Might as well sell this one and look for the one I want... I've Learned a lot with this truck considering its my first jeep and got me into the craze... I am pulling the front and rear bumpers and the amc 20... I'm leaving in the ax15 because I don't want to drop the money again to get a new driveshaft... (Sigh) I'm already getting that gut feeling that some guys get when they sell their jeeps "I shouldnt have sold that jeep"
