  1. your axle is too far back and bringing the sway links closer to the coils... Edit-best way is get adjustable lowers... How is your front pinion angle? No vibes? Oh and did you adjust your track bar after adding the new control arms?
  2. Oh and I was peeling off the stickers off the old bumper and had to take a pic...
  3. Might as well update.... So I go tot start up the truck one day to do some errands and all I hear like water dripping down to the floor...I walk up to the front of the truck and notice a big antifreeze and shut off the truck and went to diagnosing.... Took pics and seemed to be leaking from the head...I thought it was a head gasket but it didn't over heat... Also noticed I was missing the back exhaust manifold bolt and the one next to it was loose.... Missing rear exhaust manifold bolt So I pulled the exhaust and intake manifold and found out one of the freeze plugs on the head had rusted through. So I replaced them with dorman 565-014 which are the brass ones for the later model 2.5s....but they fit like a charm...
  4. I have 10w-30 conventional In both my ax15 and ax5 with no issues...
  5. Nice! You do good work!
  6. Did the cylinder head freeze plugs....
  7. Well finally got the exhaust bolt and installed...added antifreeze and ran it for about 20 mins and no leaks... And I don't have as to what had sounded an exhaust leak anymore
  8. ^this....Or either a bad plug/wire...
  9. Any body know the intake manifold bolt size? Need to get 1 for the missing one....
  10. Lol I said the same thing after I already reinstalled everything.... If they leak I'll redo them... But as a first time it wasn't too bad...
  11. So I bought both...dorman 555-014 steel and the 565-014 copper for the later model 2.5s.... Removing the old plugs were a bit challenging being my first time but popped them out and installed all 4 in about 10mins.... I decided to do the copper first and they fit perfect! Install pics...
  12. Got a part # on that air temp sensor? That part has been discontinued
  13. Should I get the later model plugs? They come in copper...but not sure if they are the correct size
  14. Called the local auto parts store they're selling them $.31 each... Going to pick up a few and see if I can get it installed
  15. Just plugged in the j3172319 part# into the rockauto website and it gave me a dorman 555014... I'm going to give that a try when I get in the mail...
  16. Hornbrod- I need plug number 2...which is near the back of the head... But the parts list shows the measurements for #3... Which sounds like the right size...the .875" plug...
  17. I don't even know...I'm thinking of pulling the head and taking it to a machine shop for them to do it... I don't even know if they sell those parts... Does anyone have a method of tackling the freeze plug? Or where to even get them?
  18. Well it's a mini-freeze plug that's on the head... I wiped it down and shook the truck and just started coming out of the water jet hole?
  19. Try tapping that starter relay...make sure the connections are clean and tight...
  20. Will do...looks like I'll be pulling the Intake and exhaust manifold This week to see what the true problem is... Thanks fellas
