8.25 and load sensing valve
88whitemanche replied to SBpunk's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
What I did was plug the front bottom portion of the distribution block and ran that line all to way to the back where it connects to the rubber brake line which I had to change the fitting to make it work.... -
What rims and what center caps?
88whitemanche replied to Jackrabbit41's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
They look like cragers but it's best to measure the center hole and search around iirc they make different sizes... -
89 4 banger will not start
88whitemanche replied to Claymadry's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
The 4cyl didn't come with ballast resistors... Best way to check if your pumping fuel is disconnect one hose from the fuel filter and see if any comes out. If not its your fuel pump, but if your getting fuel check for spark... -

'Ratmanche' the '88 Comanche
88whitemanche replied to Rockfrog's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
Iirc I remember someone mentioning that the ford 8.8 pumpkin is offset to one side...maybe the shop measure from center of the pumpkin and went 21"/whatever amount matches the 42" over to each side to set the perches...that could be the reason why one side to set closer than the other.... Here's a write up mentioning it being offset... http://www.stu-offroad.com/axle/8.8axle/8.8axle-1.htm -
Man that looks clean...it does show the ac compressor Looking for rust is best for your part unless your over 2 hours of driving time....I wouldn't even ask unless I'm there looking at the truck...usual visual under the floor boards, bed fender flares, double check the engine bay firewall where the master cylinder is and along the fuse box inside the interior...

Man that's amazing dude! At least your wife knows your passion and doesn't want to mess it up...congrats! -
Maybe the LOL pissed him off... But yes he is done talking to you lol Honestly theres lot of guys that do know jeeps and some blabber to know jeeps... Some are actually willing to learn but he is closed minded obviously...maybe his model is a factory no a/c model As far as the interior pics go...some just expect the interior to be clean with stuff in it or still currently daily driving it... Or just too lazy to do a decent job to make a sell...

Brakes are done! Let's just say this thing brakes better than my 98 xj...wow! I suggest this to anyone that wants to add the wj booster and master cylinder and sensing valve delete..... Also the lines cleared the window washer bottle... Ah and added a 6" billet antenna...

Swapping in a Cherokee 8.25.
88whitemanche replied to Knucklehead97's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
97+ Cherokees had the 29 spline axle shafts(bigger axles) as the 96- had the 27 spline (some will say the same strength/size of a Dana 35).... -
Well that's going to change...hoping to get equal pressure front and rear with the wj booster and master cylinder and 8.25 disc swap in the future....
-
Well today I was finally able to get the wj booster and master cylinder in...and tried deleting the load sensing valve but fell into a weird spot.... I originally plugged the front portion of the distribution block.. Then plugged another spot down in the back of the truck where the load sensing valve is located.... When I went to bleed the brakes there was no fluid coming out and my dad still had his foot on the brake pedal. Hmmm weird..., I went back to the distribution block and removed the plugged section and fluid gushed out as my dad still had his foot on the brake..., I plugged that back in and removed the bottom portion of the block which leads to the rear brakes at the diff and my dad pushed the pedal and it got stiff and no fluid came out... Weird, as I just noticed I've been driving around for 2 weeks or God knows how long with no rear brakes!!!! So what I did was used the brake line to the sensing valve to the back and rerouted that line to use straight to the rear diff and plug the bottom of the distribution block... Which I'm going to do later down the week... No pics as I was trying to get it done but ran into that problem...Ill get more pics when I get back to the truck
