  1. Finally got started on the sliders, only got the driver side on now, tomorrow I'll get the passenger side on
  2. Can't bet against Brady! and I HATE the pats! Ugh!
  3. Nates4x4 short bed sliders, got them for $295 shipped...used SUMMERSAVINGS as the coupon code I did have to wait a while though close to 2 months but they are getting better with shipping times... Dang... So you have them mounted yet? I wasent keen on the nates do to them poking out from under the rocker about an inch further on one end than the otherNot yet, I should have them on by the end of the week, I was anal about that at first but I'd have to build my own and I don't have the welding skills to do so. I seen them on outlaws (member here) rig and I fell in love, I've never seen a set of sliders in real life until his and I wanted them so bad! I know I'm not going to worry about the sticking out part, id actually prefer it now since I daily drive my truck and just the other day someone slammed their door into my truck at the mall and chipped a bit of paint, so I know those sliders will come in handy to put a dent/damage the next persons car if they do that again...
  4. You need the driveshaft lengthened, but you'll know more if you take off the boot at the transfer case output shaft, You should have 3/4-1" of space for movement If any more than that you should be getting vibrations

  6. Jeep jeep and more jeep!!! Usually guys pick up a Honda Civic to save on gas to fund a jeep
  7. Heavier loads eats more gas maybe? Eager to see if it fits, always had in mind to do the swap
  8. One of the best upgrades on the truck yet! I did mine and was so much happier with better viewing options than the mini side views
  9. Looking good! An interior cage has always been in my mind to have in the truck, can't wait for more details!
  10. There's a couple guys that have done that, On the axle end everything stays the same all the way to the rubber hose, there's only a couple of things that change without changing the actual distribution block... Plugging the port at the block, following the line and changing the fittings to fit the rubber hose.... There are guys that stick to an xj, zj block for emergency braking purposes if you were to blow a brake line you have the emergency bypass to help you with braking... although I don't have disc brakes, the booster/master cylinder upgrade/load sensing valve delete Made a world of a difference in braking. Night and day difference
  11. here is a write up on it, http://comancheclub.com/topic/51268-load-height-sensing-valve-delete-bypass/?do=findComment&comment=524965
  12. lol that's true, Maybe he was talking about tire chains,
  13. It'll be a funny if someone calls the guy and refers him to Jim.... I recall a thread a while back jim is known as the jeep guy in that part of town...
  14. Chains are truly the unsafest way to pull someone out, Look into kinectic energy ropes(bubba rope, voodoo rope, master pull) it's literally a rubber band and have seen Cherokees pull 2 ton mud boggers out
  15. They are a lot better than the poly mounts that I've had, the vibrations have calmed down since driving it over 1k miles But still very vibey, at start up they'll be very strong, then calm down a bit, and depending where your idle is, it'll vibrate hard again... It's something to get used to, when in motion barely any vibes, mainly at idle....
  16. Package finally showed up on my doorstep! Nates 4x4 short box sliders!
  17. Nice! Hope to see a lot of progress, There's a guy in cherokeeforum who did this swap, I think he sells the engine mounts/brackets for the swap
