  1. Best shift knob! I too hated the slop the other shifters gave me, obviously nothing compared to a hurst which is the whole assembly but the knob itself best bang for your buck...
  2. The Ax15 is the smoothest operating one Buddy of mine has a tj with the nv3550, at idle it sounds like a couple marbles rolling around and only from 1st to 2nd it has a weird grinding noise, he has to put it into neutral for a split second then put it into 2nd to shift smooth For piece of mind I'd go new, if it's junkyard or Craigslist I wouldn't pay over $200...
  3. I'm hoping to be in that ballpark of lift, going by the everyone's comments I trust they'll be awesome springs
  4. Congrats bud! Well deserved!
  5. I spoke to him yesterday and he's up to 16 single springs meaning 8 sets including me... Besides the 7 already reserved to the guys in this convo.
  6. Best way to help you is to regear your axles, if your concern is speed, Once that is done Then a 5 speed trans would be an ideal swap because you have that 5th gear to cruise when in highways speeds... I have the 2.5 with a 5 speed 3.5" lift and 35s and i don't even use 5th gear, 4th gear is all I need but still struggle to get to even to get to 65-70mph...well I currently have 4.10s Once I regear to 4.88s I know it'll be the difference I need to get back that little grunt these little engines have
  7. Nice mounts! Those bushings look like the late model 97+ Xj 2.5 bushings Stupid clean engine bay as usual by the way...
  8. I have the Ax15 in my truck, just a couple parts to get it installed, I have a spare Dakota bellhousing I'd sell if your willing to go this route... The only issue I've had was the crossmember and I had to make a bracket to keep the crossmember in the stock location....
  9. Truck is looking good! what a transformation
  10. Ok just to get started do cruisers remix tips, http://cruiser54.com If it still doing it after that, I'd say do a refresh for a full tune up including a new icm, coil, starter relay
  11. That's weird usually when the vacuum line to the map sensor would make the truck run really bad... Can you take pictures of the vacuum line set up? Might be in the wrong place? Also double check if your cps wiring isn't touching the exhaust manifold....
  12. I'm in for a set if this deal is still on... Do you know if Joe works weekends? Or do I wait until Monday to call?
  13. Since you have an auto That gear ratio should be ideal for daily driving and weekend warrior for 35s... I have 4.10s on my xj with 35s and it's outstanding on gas and give back that oomph in the driveline...
  14. I don't blame you for taking off the light bar, How do you like the stance? I like it personally
  15. Bronco, the first model bronco...Love those things
  16. Wow! I'm speechless! Truck is BEAUTIFUL
  17. Build thread is coming along nice! I had a similar incident with a jackstand but not with an injury... Was trying to do a lift on my truck with no help and experience... Harbor freight 3 ton jack failed and dropped the whole truck in the bushes... This pic doesn't do it justice it was after I had put a tire on it to attempt to pick it back up...
  18. Congrats man! This thing is SWEET!
  19. I've been waiting for 2 years for him to release that product!!! Others maybe even more time
  20. Man that blue is nice! What blue is it?
  21. Want to have spare amc 20 axle shafts If anyone has some laying around they want to let go pm me please thanks
  22. Good eye! I couldn't stop staring at the house wondering why did he pick this pic until I noticed the truck on the side of the house
  23. Yes, each slider is being held by 12 self tapping bolts and 3 clamp style pressing on the pinch seam, I can stand on them, I'm 240 pounds and no problems I can bounce/jump on them and the whole truck moves with every jump...
  24. Finally got the passenger side on Eventually I'll get a couple far away shots, but I love them!
