Krustyballer Fabrications
88whitemanche replied to shelbyluvv's topic in Vendors- members making products for MJs
No company makes them but they did come on comanches both swb and lwb models everyone who has them that sells them doesn’t want to ship them or bother with the oddly shape they are due to the mounting locations I’ll try to get some pics of the swb and lwb ones- 197 replies

What’s up bud have you considered making swb/lwb gas tank skids? I’d definitely would be interested in a swb one- 197 replies

Yeah the zip tie is there for that reason You might be able to finagle a way to apply abit of pressure to it like a rubber band or something but have you already pulled the parts out the trans tunnel? If the fluid bled out you’ll have to put everything back together and bleed it again
-
Did it have the zip tie on it? Mine had the same issue but it needed the zip tie part to apply enough pressure to not shoot out it happened to me about 10 attempts till I realized it and gave in and bought a new slave cylinder (had a used unit)

Nice I ended up finding the thread size (m22-1.5) on the bottom of the intake lol and bought Dorman part # 090-055 3-pack for $15 on amazon and for the top I bought one of those Route 66 block off plates off of fleabay... next order of business would be either a stainless steel header set off fleabay or a pacesetter header...but I like that idea that your manifold already came with a block offplate already, easier to just throw it on and not worry about anything -
Actually I have both but I’m going to use the m8000 on this run...

Good to hear... going to experiment a bit... i have a late model 2.5 radiator fan shroud with the built in electric fan that allows you to use the 4.0 radiator

I was thinking the same... i am waiting until after Christmas to pick up a synthetic winch line because the winch cable off my warn winch has been fraying a bit where did you mount your solenoid box? I was trying to figure out where I can I put it so I can access it easier

Great progress! I see that your plugged the egr valve... what plug did you use for the bottom part of it? Mine has been frozen since I’ve gotten mine and the exhaust hose that plugs into the intake has plenty holes in it and the fumes are at times overbearing in stop and go traffic... i plan to get a later model manifold but didn’t know what to do with the bottom part of the egr.... -

4.0 Back of head freeze plug
88whitemanche replied to 88whitemanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Updated i didn’t pull the head, I had to remove the ground cable that attaches the head to the body to get it to lower that 1/2 inch... used a pry bar and got the freeze plug out and it took a couple tries and lucky I ordered a couple plugs to finally got in place the right way.... old plug new plug -

I meant for the track bar... did it come with a tie rod at the end or is it double shear? -

Lol that’s my fear to but I want to have it on there if it really works... i haven’t seen anyone here in the forum that actually uses it for its function or taken any pics of it working Nice, that’s what I kept saying that about the first one but it didn’t have the gasket as the new to me that I picked up... -
4.0 Back of head freeze plug
88whitemanche replied to 88whitemanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Ok I got the engine low enough to at least see 90% of the freeze plug... but it’s not coming out..the middle is tearing apart and the rim hasn’t barely moved...looks like I’ll be pulling the head... here's a pic of my attempt
