"Wendy"- 88 Jeep Comanche Build
88whitemanche replied to Swampy's topic in MJ Hardcore Tech: Epic Journeys to Greatness
1-plug looks like the o2 sensor plug and the 4 prong one is for an automatic transmission if you had one... but all older model Jeep harnesses had them all equipped the same to save time and money at the factory -

I love mine, not the best in gas mileage with bigger lift and tires and with the taller gearing with lockers but I don’t baby it either.... most reliable engine ive had so far after doing cruisers renix tips and refreshing the sensors and parts....

All the years I’ve had this truck- I get offers all the time.. just recently this past Saturday someone in a Tacoma waved me down at 70mph on the highway just to ask me how much would I sell the truck... and later that night I was at a McDonald’s and got offered to trade my truck for an xj.... Ive always mentioned to my close ones 10k would be my bottom dollar to pry it out my hands Love the compliments, makes me feel that I’ve built a badass rig...

4.5 Rusty's Long Arm
88whitemanche replied to drewsky_87's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Right just read your first post about you having a 2.5 most xj/mj longs arm systems are meant for the 4.0s wether auto or manual so anything for a 2.5 would have to be custom you would have to make a plate that ties in the trans mount to the crossmember similar to what I did when I swapped an nv3550 into it.... I currently have this set up with my cavfab 3-link and it works with no issues- 37 replies

Here’s one that shows someone notching a tie-in bracket to fit on a Comanche although it’s the cavfab 3-link system but it’s the same concept- 37 replies

What it looks like in the picture not sure if that kit comes with separate tie-in brackets or it’s just a whole pce but the crossmemeber looks to be too far forward and you need to notch the bracket itself to fit in the factory location and not hit that frame part that gets in the way- 37 replies
