  1. Double check your starter relay...check the connections if they are loose or just got hot enough and died...
  2. Got any tracking info yet? I was thinking about ordering a set in a couple weeks...
  3. I paid $200 for my girl over 5-6 years ago...
  4. I just web browsed...but I'll call sometime next week to see if they selling them again
  5. Ok rearching is completely out the picture... I'll most likely combine both leaf springs and see where I can get some lift out of it.... I checked hellcreek and they seemed to completely discontinue/stop production on the Comanche leaf springs in all models.... Thank fellas for the advice and knowledge
  6. What's up guys So I got an set of 2wd springs that I've been wanting to either combine my current leaf pack or rearch them... My current springs are super saggy! Although it's my dd/weekend warrior I still use the bed a lot. But it seems every time I use it the springs are getting worse and worse... The shop isnt charging me much to do the work just wondering if it's worth the work? What is your take on rearching springs?

    oil

This was a good read if you got time to.... http://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/rotella-worlds-first-ever-combined-hair-oil-foot-ointment-salad-dressing-188168/ I have the rotella t6 "diesel oil" 10w-30 And both my trucks are happy...
  8. I did that when I was advised by the owner of brown dog and I sent him pics because he wanted to verify if my engine brackets were bent or bushings damaged on both sides and the hard vibes didn't go away...at the time the Comanche was my only vehicle and I was doing over 350+ miles a week....alot of mixed highway and stop and go traffic...Stop and go were the worst times of the vibration...Until I gave up and slapped in cheap $10 motor mounts and haven't looked back since...
  9. ^^ This. Vibratus maximus. I took them off my MJ two weeks later and replaced them with NOS Mopar originals. Never again.......... I had the poly ones and it took me a week to take them out... Vibrations were TERRIBLE at idle...
  10. Finally got a pic of this Comanche that's been strolling along my neighborhood... Every time I've seen it I can't get my phone out to take the pic in time till now and still barely got it because I was walking my dog in the rain...
  11. You won't know until you install the transfer case... Or unless they can prove that the back of that ax15 is clocked for both Cherokee/wrangler models... This is my ax15 on my truck that is from a 93yj....you see that the transfer clocked up...I have about 1/2" clearance from the transfer case to the floorboard with a couple hits with a hammer...
  12. Yeah you'll be good just swap everything over... Since it's a wrangler ax15 the transfer case will be clocked upwards which is good for clearance for rock crawling... If it does interfere with the floor board a few wacks with a hammer will make due...
  13. Yea you'll be fine and that's an external slave ax15... Is yours external slave? I don't remember if you did or not..,
  14. Lately yes, but up until these moments I've been hitting up junkyards every 2-3 days just to catch them before they are stripped.... Now the junkyards have a website and pictures of their inventory so I know what to look for in their pictures.. Any 97+ 2 door I'm jumping on parts easily...
  15. So while I was vacation in chile a couple weeks ago I got an email front ruff stuff specialties Saying I won the customer view monthly contest...they sent a tshirt/lots of stickers/a couple beer coozies and a 20% off discount!!! Pics! Also finally got around to getting pics of the shackle relocation brackets from hd off-road engineering I picked up in May I picked up both because I'm still trying to figure out if the rear of the xj is higher than the back or not...it's hard to find a flat surface to determine that... There's times the rear is higher and at times the front is higher then the rear...smh And the no lift shackle relocation brackets...
  16. Did the driver side...cut a lot but drilled and riveted and sealed it with sealer....still have to paint and fix it a bit....but this Florida heat is TERRIBLE!!!
  17. So been putting off doing the rear cut and fold until today... Well only did half this miami humidity is INSANE! I felt like my head was about to explode... Progress is progress I'll do the other side during the week...and drill the holes to throw some sealant and rivets to seal it...
  18. What's up fellas So I recouped some birthday money and bought some hd no lift relocation brackets and the ones that add lift...I was going to buy the re boomerang shackles and some brown dog motor mounts then realized there's a 40% off at the Jy so I couldn't pass up on a deal for another 4.10 8.25.... Going to wait next check to pick up some shackles and save up for the brown dogs with the brackets
  19. Well I guess this is a worthy update.... Bought an rc bumper for under $250...sold it Swapped my nates4x4 bumper over to the Cherokee and finally installed the smittybilt xrc8 Rc bumper... Nates 4x4 with the winch and cover... Oh I just ordered a diy Mojave rear bumper...going to try and add in the rear cut and fold when I build the bumper....
  20. So I took off the iro double shear track bar off the Xj and put it on the Comanche... The rubicon express track bar I bought a while back I put it on the Xj with the drop bracket I got off amazon for a steal...
  21. Everyone who has his products I've never heard a complain... The steering box brace looks very stout that's the 2nd one I've seen that braces the complete front part of the chassis and not a bar going across the chassis... Here's the other one I've seen... http://www.boostwerksengineering.com/The-Ultimate-XJ-Steering-Brace_p_8.html
  22. Looking good! Got anymore details on that tent set up?
  23. The 4.0 radiators only came in the 2.5s from 97+ xjs... You can convert it but you would have to find a fan shroud from a 97+ xj to do the swap complete...unless you plan to do electrics fan and eliminate the mechanical fan... I currently have that radiator in my 98 xj...had it for only a couple months...paid $80 for it at a local radiator shop so far so good....
  24. Where are you located? I still have my original ax5 and np231 transfer case To start your conversion...
