found this little guy today. if anyone needs any renix parts.

trans was a quart low. all is well. my little jumper wire kept the fans running on high and the AC running cool. the sub works great now. it's sooooo nice to finally hear all of the notes in a song! getting some whine in the speakers when the headlights are on. I'm getting a loud noise from 35-55mph that sounds like a wheel bearing. but it doesn't change pitch when I turn left or right, rather it increases and decreases in intensity when I go over a bump and the suspension cycles. I guess that could be the little bearings in the front diff that support the shafts?

so today I manage to temper my glorious high of finally pulling that 2wd aX-15 (long story) by promptly getting gear oil dribbling out of it all over my hat that I had set down next to the Jeep. fml so it's been washed with the rest of my work clothes but still reeks. next up is a lengthy soak in dish soap and warm water. no idea if that will actually do anything. thoughts? I love my work hat. I'd buy a thousand more if they were still available, but they are not.

If I had a future prize willing truck I'd leave it alone, but can't hurt to go with a classic 3" lift and 31s.

more important is what's you budget and what size tires?

for Jeeps, the dana 35 is only used as rear axle. but in some small Fords it was used as a front diff in their TTB setup

that would be a dana 30 front also, I've edited the list to reflect what we know are reused codes (for example you don't have airbags or a 3.42 gear ratio)

They were a celebratory item for the launch of the Comanche in 1985. If I remember right, the gold colored ones were handed out to Jeep executives and the brass were handed out to employees and dealerships. but I've not seen paperwork that confirms that so it might be a little different.
