  1. you'll need the flywheel, and you can use either clutch.
  2. you have a renix. it's an HO. the teeth that the CPS reads are very different between the 2.
  3. score! but the flywheel is worthless to you.
  4. be sure to search for various years because the site only lists by part number and not interchangeability
  5. Since I can check on the every day I hope to catch the little cukes and direct them down through the webbing while they are still small. if I miss a couple, so be it. this is all about experimenting to find what works and what doesn't. and yes, I plan to can most all my home grown cukes this year I'm down to my last jar of sweet dill from last year. sandwiches just aren't the same without it.
  6. the bleeding procedures are in the link in my sig. these the steps you guys have been doing, yes?
  7. nothing like a big ol' american v8 boat
  8. have you tried car-part.com yet?
  9. cutting, no (although some guys did that for reasons I don't fully understand). hammering, maybe. and if you do, it's not much. I put a TJ AX-15 into my 88 and only needed to nip of a small aluminum tab that was sticking out of the corner of the t-case. be aware that the stickshift is different too, but I'm running the TJ unit so that isn't a deal killer either. also the t-case lever action is different. I used MJ stuff and fabbed a pivot point out of a flat bar of steel. aftermarket shifters exist that don't need any of that. you can see the little tabs on the t-case in this shot. TJ on top. just a simple flat bar bolted to the trans
  10. unsprung length means little since the spring rates can be different.
  11. the clocking can be overcome (and can be beneficial from the addition ground clearance), but yeah the front axle is a loooooot of effort. also, I see that the Jeep hit the yard on march 6th? are the parts still there?
  12. Rockfrog is still active. he might see it. if not, I would send a private message to get his attention.

but seriously speaking, I'd trade all my MJs for a clean 715 with a modern v8 conversion.

you can absolutely use a tank too.
  16. I also see a georgia sticker. if I had a 3 hour commute through atlanta and the AC went out, you'd better believe I'd be willing to do something similar.
  17. please do!
  18. vacuum escaping past a seal? I've never dealt with a system that runs that high.
