I have my doubts. that'd be like making a Laredo Pioneer MJ. Rubi and Sahara are 2 different trim levels.
  3. if I remember right, there's about a half inch of clearance above the arm when each side is firmly on the bumpstop.
  4. got a surprise upgrade to the correct license plate lights
  5. Love the pic! do you mind if I use it on the CC facebook page?
  6. oh, and car-part.com can help with your junkyard searches. also, also, you'll want to remember the year of the axle you buy, as the brakes/bearings/etc changed over the years
  7. https://www.imcdb.org/
  8. would if I could in the KJ, but fear that I don't drive often enough to give it a full testing workout.
  9. for your purposes you'd be missing the long rod that connects them and it might turn into a 2-man operation to slide the seat. or you can finagle something up.
  10. the number can vary, but not more than .02 for example: 4.09/4.10/4.11 are all essentially the same. the number comes from dividing the teeth and those can vary a bit depending on axle size. 3.54/3.55 is the most common XJ ratio out there so it should be easy to find. 95-99 are the best
  11. is there assembly lube on everything?
  12. yes. benches use the same hardware, but only one actual slider per seat.
  13. My t-case skid is 1/4" plate that I had the steel shop bend up 1" on each side (I needed one made for my control arm crossmember and it was cheap to have a second one made up). not sure if that works for a stock t-case though, as my trans/tcase is from a wrangler and so is up a bit higher. I finally found a stock fuel tank metal skid that will eventually be going on.
  14. you clearly have the skills. I would just make my skids.

pretty sure the tow mirrors are the same left to right
  16. do you have rocker guards? that's most important.

rust, rust, and rust. just because they are "special" doesn't mean they got any special treatment from Chrysler when they were built.
  18. if you start one, I'm sure other guys will chime in with their thoughts.
  19. and you're going to copy/paste that into a DIY thread, yes? we could definitely use a master brakes thread.
  20. ouch! is there an official path for driving down to it?
