A 2001 Ford Focus ZTS (tan in color) that didn't drip a spot of oil from somewhere on the back upper right side of the engine every night when parked.

But seriously, I'd like to own another TJ at some point.  Just for putting around in, with the top/doors off.....not as a DD.

I want my 99 Suburban back. I had replaced the engine and rebuilt the entire undercarriage suspension, etc. I was to the point of painting it. And sold it. I still see it regularly as I sold it to a family I know that was hard up for a dependable vehicle. Needed space for multiple kids and reliability for cheap.
But I do miss it! Pic is in Canyonlands National park beginning of White Rim Trail and the Potash Road.42759c2beadf0cad1597dd86daae1a88.jpg

First car was a 73 Super Beetle with a 1600 and a horrible auto-stick trans. Mine was much much uglier than this, but was the same color. I'd love to have another one, even if the Super is the redheaded step-child of the aircooled world.

32 Ford 2 food sedan. Rust free.

Yes, I got to see this car come out of a storage unit for the first time in years. I know the guy that made it run.

Crown Vic/Charger General Lee.  I grew up watching the Dukes and my dream car is a General Lee.  Since I can't afford a real 69 Charger, I want the cheap version I can not feel bad about beating on a bit.

Believe it or not, this is a Crown Victoria Police Interceptor.  Wheelbase is perfect and all the 69 Charger sheetmetal and most of the trim can be bought online for just under $10k total.  Factor in a roll cage and donor Crown vic and you have a 69 Dodge Charger-ish for around $15k all in.

I may be cheating with this one as I own it but I likely won't get to end goal for quite a while.  I want an open canopy offroad buggy thing to drive around with, like a side-by-side.  Something like this.

I already own a wrecked 98 Suzuki Sidekick (with a clean title so it can be registered at some point) that I made run and drive, which is what I someday hope to finish.

PS, solo recovery missions with two vehicles is very difficult.

Is that . . . .is that most of a 97+ cherokee header? On a zuki?

@Pete M ,can you steal this pic and post it to the "Put down the hammer and walk away" thread? I feel its deserving.

Haha yes.  The zuki grill was no more, it rolled through a cornfield at 65mph..  I needed lights and just used what I had!  There's a thread in the "other projects" threads on the zuki.
