89 MJ Posted December 3, 2020 Share Posted December 3, 2020 The motor in my 89 gave up at 163k and change. It was not well maintained though. It had way too much oil in it when I gave it its first oil change and the oil was thin, probably from additives trying to quiet down the knock.
