    i do know you can get a separate standalone kit for your wipers. its a universal kit from like jcwhitney i think. i just remember my dad installing a kit to make his wipers work intermittently. had a separate switch box though mounted on or under the dash.

    so added a "junk hideaway colset" (more likley for the womens "extra shoes" literally. ) and then finished her light install and got the switch mounted. either way shes happy and will keep feeding me steak so ill be happy.

    swap column easiest. and relatively straight forward and tilt is nice. other wise as long as they work get some rain x and be happy . sucks when they don't work at all.

    clutch disc is bad perhaps. bad syncos in trans itself. is it in any gear or just 1-2?

    so have you considered just swapping out the lifters or the collapsed one at that.? be quicker then swapping a engine.
