Thanks for sharing, I scooped it up. Hard to resist cool stuff like that. -

If you still need someone, try Redemption Offroad in Richland Hills. Yours wouldn’t be the first Comanche they’ve serviced. Super nice guys and they tell it to you straight. My truck has been to them twice and the second time they squeezed me in same day pretty much immediately to fix a quick issue. My truck is also a bit Frankenstein’d by the previous owner(s) and they weren’t afraid to help me.

Yeah that was my first thought, I didn’t recall seeing these duplicated yet. The seller listed another set, so they must have a handful https://www.ebay.com/itm/335111847424 -

Have you tried contacting this guy? Looks like it has 1 crack though. It’s up near Fort Worth, but maybe something could be worked out? https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1402538493686439

There aren’t any other plugs on it. I was going to just get a closed tank like the oem one or the 2.5L reservoir (something with a hose at the bottom) so that the coolant could flow back into the radiator…I was assuming that the coolant couldn’t get back into the radiator because the hose is at the very top of this tank
-
This is what it currently looks like. Yes, this black reservoir tank is connected right at the radiator cap. After I have been driving a bit (20+ mins) is when it seems to start coming out of the top opening next to the hose. Then once I am parked and turn the truck off it spits out a big puddle. However, the reservoir keeps getting filled because it comes out of the radiator, but never back into it so I’ve have to re-fill the radiator because it just spills out. This morning when I had to get it back home after sitting at a friend’s house all night, the black reservoir was completely full and then the radiator took 1/3 of a gallon of distilled water to fill it back up cause that’s what I had on hand

Okay, this little black tank is the only thing connected to the radiator. I think the person I got it from was going to or trying to convert it but didn’t get very far. The radiator that’s in it has a cap on top

Probably a dumb question, but I’m still a bit of a newbie so bear with me. 😅 This is the current situation of coolant overflow bottle in my truck which was not my doing. Drove it today for 40mins straight and coolant obviously came out of the open nub next to the hose line. There was no overheating issue, just simply think it filled up and came out of the opening. Will taking this tank out and swapping it for a 2.5L overflow bottle solve this? Does it need a vent anywhere/somehow?
-
Yes I’m guessing that’s the problem because everything is seemingly connected fine, but the cable is long as heck
-
Sorry got caught up working and then researching external trans coolers and fuel injectors. Gonna dig into it tomorrow, just didn’t know if someone had this issue before
-
Possibly a dumb question, but my speedometer cable was recently replaced by a shop and now the needle randomly jumps all over the place and it makes this noise after I get up over ~ 25mph What would cause this? Hopefully the video clip works IMG_0704.MOV

Kept meaning to do this. Just curious about the info on my XJ. It’s only 2wd, but it’s the first vehicle I ever bought and the reason why I love Jeeps. We have been on many road trips together.

I believe this is a 1990. Bought the owner’s manual on eBay and it came with a transport sheet with a vin. Thought this oil change coupon booklet was funny too.
