  1. just watched the process on tv (xtreme offroad) and it looks awesome! I won't use the word "clean" but the leftover mess is just "mud" on the ground rather than dust everywhere.
  2. does the rubber tailgate protector wrap over the top of the gate?
  3. that's a good question. I've never thought about it. I guess you could try and see if it can lift the rig. I bet a larger truck at the junkyard would have a bigger capacity scissor jack. good to you and the ol' MJ are out having fun
  4. the computer controls the timing, but can only adjust it so much and if you're off a tooth, it'll run rough.
  5. well, I'm intrigued...
  6. are you continuing the steel flares up front?

    Really rare

I just don't think the MJ we know and love would ever have gotten a v8 option. Maybe if it shared the Dak platform (meaning IFS) it really could have happened, but it would likely have continued with the XJ platform. But even then the GC and Dak didn't get the magnum 360 until 98. don't worry though. When I invent that time machine I'll go back and convince them to make a special edition 98 MJ with the 5.9L and the forever Mopar warranty. How's that for a collectible Jeep
  8. I've lost too many friends to the death sticks.
  9. does that yard realize what it takes to remove them?

I want a 95 Comanche. damn that would have been a sweet ride!
  11. I've never had a rubber tailgate protector, only plastic. neat!
  12. I think Wahoo's truck is still broken. Hard acceleration is fine, light acceleration is bad. I've heard those symptoms before but I cannot for the life of me remember any more.
  13. I've often wondered that. the only ones I've ever seen in a pullapart-style yard were either mangled or burnt to a crisp. want a liberty fender? no problemo, there are 50 in the pullapart yards near me. want a wrangler fender? that's a big ol' NOPE.
  14. what about the vac line running to the MAP? bad fuel? on the electronic side, there should be procedures for checking the various sensors (I'm thinking maybe tps?) in the link in my sig.
  15. I remember there was a wrecked wrangler at S+W pullyourpart. can't remember if it was a YJ or TJ or how much rear damage there was but I'm driving to the area next week so I'll be sure to swing by and check it out. (doesn't take much at all to get me to a pull a part )
  16. the dealership is... cheaper?! that sure doesn't happen very often
  17. from what I read in that thread, it looks like they are a real pain to remove. not sure I could be of any help if I saw one in the junkyards. found another left on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mopar-Left-Belt-Retainer-Reinforcement-55175755AC-For-97-06-Jeep-Wrangler-TJ/232734456328?epid=1141786490&hash=item36300dfa08:g:IY8AAOSwtrha0qgc:rk:1:pf:0
  18. rear sway bar, rear sway bar, rear sway bar.
  19. factory soft top? looks like this? I found a thread about removing them and it contained part numbers for new ones: from here: https://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/help-me-remove-soft-top-retainer-rails-tub-1009953/

  21. how about a little lift?
  22. 5 more posts and the classifieds will open up for a wanted thread. I'm sure somebody has one.
  23. you are first on the list when we get the stickers made. take care and stop by anytime.
  24. I know the 4.0ho AC delete pulleys/brackets are available. I'm not sure about the older 4.0s.
  25. have you tested the power wire to the ground wire? or just back to the battery each time?
