I stayed in Frederick one night on my way to a lacrosse tournament in Baltimore years ago. I remember driving through New Market (vs. Newmarket) the next morning. Your way (2 words) actually makes more sense. Don't get me going though on American vs Canadian (British) spelling. That would require a separate thread!
