Last night I got the stock bumper installed. I will paint the rest of the bumper. I bought a bolt on 2" receiver adapter. But I welded it on rather then bolting it on. This should hold up OK untill I can afford some JCR bumpers.

Yes sir. I got them off eBay for a whopping $8 shipped for the pair.

So I took the truck out for its first outing on the local Bangs canyon playground here. I'm quite happy with it so far. The next day I went back out in the same area but it got super muddy and we ended up not finishing the trail. I'm not really into my truck getting super muddy. It cost me almost $20 and about 35mins just to get it clean the next day. [emoji35] well here the pics.

The headlights on low beams are fairly good. On high beam tho there lacking quite a bit. I'll get some pics tho.

Well after this long weekend I got the long arm 4.5in lift kit installed, and swapped in the C8.25 rear end. All it all it want too bad. Today I also moved the front flairs up 2 inches to accommodate the needed room for these big 33's. I feel the flairs turned out quite well. They will have to work untill I can order up some notch customs fender flairs. Well here the pics.

Well today I just had to test fit my new wheels and tires. Tomorrow I start on the axel swap and lift kit install over the weekend. The wheels are a dirt circle track wheel. There DOT approved for certain class rules. But the good thing is that you can order almost any BS you want. I got a 15x8 with. 2" BS. Yes they stick out but it's kinda what I wanted. And yes I'm aware of my ball joints and wheel bearings.

Well last night i got the truck finally all togather! Really happy with how it turned out! All the hard work has paid off. I took these this morning. Sorry that it was a bit overcast this morning

the gray looks really nice. ive been assembling the last few days, and painting the mirrors and wiper arms black again. i figure i might as well since i have them off. i feel painting the little thins will make the biggest difference once its all together. today I'm going to get the 97+ front end assembled. once i get it togather ill post up some pics of the finished truck outside.

Well it's been a hell of a week. The paint nor the body work is perfect, but I didn't want perfect. I'm super happy with it tho. Saturday marks 2 weeks of owner ship! Haha. Next up is lift and wheels.

So tonight I got the door jambs painted in the Anvil Gray. Sorry for the crappy lighting it's the best I could do for now till it dries. I'm loving this color and I'm super excited to how this thing turns out.

well it has a wasserboxer 2.1L swap out of a vanagon, K03 turbo, ls2 coils mounted on plugs, microsquirt EFI, hidden crank trigger, 4 piston brake calipers up front, coilovers on all 4 corners, built IRS trans, 4 point roll bar, porsche gauges, race type seats. theres a very quick and dirty run down. lots more but it gives you an idea. but the magazine and read all about it.

i thought id make a post seeing if anyone would be interested in going to our planned Moab trip on March 24th- 26th. a few of us will be camping at the Slick Rock campsite. well today me and a few of my friends took a little light offroading up Bang's canyon. obviously its all stock, but it was still fun. here's some pics. i also ordered some new wheels. this time 15x8 with a 1" BS. i hope they look good and not mexi poke but either way ill beal with it.

I bought a T-case switch for a 91 Wrangler and ran my own wires from the switch up to where the part-time 4wd light is on the side of the engine bay. But I wanna see how I can hook up the full-time 4wd light now. I may just switch the wiring to light it up and just leave the part-time light alone. I need to do some digging through wiring diagrams first. Well tonight I scored a Chrysler 8.25 for a 100 dollar bill. I know it's no Dana 44 but from what I read, it's a lot better then what my truck has now ( dana 35) everyone seems to (or says) they break easy. So I figured the C8.25 was a good move some I'll be putting 33's on it.

Well today some parts started showing up. The wheels I'm not sold on. I bought 15x8 with. 3" offset. I kinda wanted a bit more offset. So I'm going to send these back and get some with a 2" offset. Well here's some pics of the goodies.

so as far as the Anvil Gray, i went down to the paint store today. i don't know what shade it is. we just looked up the code for Anvil Gray for a 2015 Wrangler. so i chose to do a single stage as this is just a truck and ive had good luck with the Utec brand of there single stage. Unfortunately we could not mix that formula in the single stage using the color code, so we where able to do some wizardry skills and figure out a formula that will work in a single stage paint. I'm looking forward to getting it spayed up. i will admit, when i go to paint it....all I'm after is to have a decent looking truck. I'm going to fix a few problem areas, shoot some primer where its needed, and then shoot color from there. I'm only going to take just the easy removables off. not going for a full on project as i already have one of those in my garage...lol. again my goal is to have things some what done and ready for moab by March 24th. as of right now i have everything ordered except for the tires and lift kit. I'm waiting till the weekend for one of my cars to sell and then ill order them. here's a few pics of the paint that i bought today. i realize the lighting is horrible for trying to capture the color.

both are love affairs and can be money pits...lol. but all for love of the cars.

just read thru your whole build thread. love the build. and after reading about what you did for the lift, made me convinced that a SOA is the way i wanna go. well done. keep it up. love it.
