The 2nd, Fri I was working in the yard when I kind of lost it. The neighbor saw me go down, which was a stroke of luck as he works days and usually isn't home that time of day, and he came over. Loaded me up in his car, called the highway patrol and headed for town. When he got to the highway there was a sheriff car with lights flashing waiting for him and made the 14 miles to the hospital in less than 10 minutes. Seems I had a stroke. Only kept me overnight Been light headed and fuzzy brained since. Got a scan and all kinds of tests scheduled in a couple days to see what's going on. Can't be to bad or they wouldn't have sent me home, I think.  Well see. I'm scared of hospitals.

Dammit Jim - stop thinking about that new bride and getting all excited! When all that blood rushes away from your head, well....

Seriously though....let the vampires check you out and take care of yourself! Folks say you can't kill old weeds, but just the same.....

Hope your feeling better. Being a fellow grey beard they'll probably find me face down in the dirt with the dogs and chickens surrounding me. My closest neighbors are not very observant, and the closest hospital is 30 miles away in Flagstaff, my luck they would ship me to the V.A. Take care Jim,  Steve.

As NHMJXJ said, I'm glad we're hearing about this from you instead of a third party. Listen to the MDs and take care of yourself! I'll say a prayer for you tonight.
