  4. Hi Cruiser, l'm looking for a welding shop in the Chino Valley or Prescott area. The clutch pedal on my truck broke and needs repair. Just wondering if you recommend anyone. I bought some parts from you before, my brother lives in Williamson Valley, Cross Mountain.

  5. I almost bought a red Comanche from a guy in Chino Valley last year. Kept missing connections, saw him just the other day , said he sold it to someone who used to work at York. Just thought that was you.qa
  6. Is that Tim from AZRV's old Comanche?
  7. Nice job, I had the same damage from hitting an Elk.
  8. The show is called The Boonies. It's about people who live off the grid. The guy with the MJ is on an island on Lake Michigan. In the one episode a storm blew down a tree that landed on his truck. He got his neighbor to help him get the tree off. Pretty decent show.
  9. Williams, I met you last year at your place and bought some parts.
  10. There's a show on Nat Geo coming on in two hours has a guy on there with an MJ.
  11. Did anyone see the guy in Michigan drop that tree on his MJ on that show called the Boonies?
  12. Short bed, auto, 4.0, He said it ran well up until the time it just quit. Said he put in a new CPS but it did'nt help. My two MJ's have been so reliable I've hav'nt done much trouble shooting except for the time putting my shortbed back together after my Elk encounter. I did' nt pay attention when I disconnected the starter relay, spent half the day getting that right.
  13. Saw the guy yesterday, said he would sell it for five. Probably try to pick it up Tuesday. Be a lot of good parts even if I can't get it sorted out.
  14. It must be the water.
  15. The panel is just removed, the wiring looked like a rats nest. He had so much stuff in the cab it was hard to get a good look at the wiring to see if any of it was cut up. I've seen your craigslist ads, did' nt know for sure if that was your ad at first. Saw your white MJ in the backgroynd of one of the ads. I' m going to let this guy think over my offer for a few days, it's not advertised for sale so it is'nt going anywhere. I'll let you know when I start seaching fot parts.
  16. I Offered him 500.00, he came back at 800.00. It has a recently rebuilt auto trans, pretty straight, has the lower dash panel off looks like he was tracing wires. I'ts 2wd if I get I'll do the swap to 4wd.
  17. Looking good. I might be picking up another one this weekend in Chino Valley. Quit on the guy, I'm thinking CPS.
  18. That is the same pump I ordered from Rockauto. It's a Bosch pump in a Carter box. They also sell a Walbro pump, I think the Walbros were original equipment in some Jeeps. Anyway , my mechanic put mine in no problem. 89 4.0 longbed.
  19. Nates has a sale going on this month.
  20. That damage on the drivers side bed looks like what a bull elk did to mine. Did'nt faze him, but it did a number on my passenger side front, took the mirror off, and put a dent in the bedside. I repaired everything but the bed, went to Flag to look at a two wheel drive shortbed. Guy wanted 1650, thought I had a deal for 1250, guy got cold feet and changed his mind. I was going to part it, but it turned out to be a pretty decent truck. Its still on craigslist Flagstaff, might offer him a little more see what happens. I'll pull out the stud gun and what I can do to my dent.
  21. I've seen that truck a few times in Chino Valley when I go to my brothers in Williamson Valley. Looked to be pretty solid from a distance.
  22. Had two windshields installed in the past with the original metal trim used and never had any leaking. Hit a Bull Elk awhile back messed up the left front and cracked the windshield, no damage to the elk. Had a new windshield installed with the rubber gasket, leaked like a sieve. Did some sealing with silicone and stopped the leak. Had almost the identical damage that Automan had to his Cherokee when he hit that Ford pickup. His post on his repair was a lifesaver. Want to thank him for a great thread.
  23. That 87 down in San Luis does'nt look too bad. It looks really clean, plus it's got the 4.0, and it's instate.
  24. I think that part #2 is the lower part, its the one that the skid plate mounts to.
