  1. Check out the thread Busy Day by Kansasshogun hes doing a 350 swap.
  2. You can get the weatherstrips on e-bay, am-autoparts.
  3. I think my 89 has Chrysler tags on it. My 88 has AMC tags, so I'm guessing 1989.
  4. All I get is a brake light, red upper left corner.
  5. Green Valley is down in Pima county between Tuscon and Nogales.
  6. Do like Eagle said get your front tires balanced. My tire balance felt pretty good, had them rebalanced no more death wobble. The times I experienced it, it only happened at over fifty mph when hitting a pothole or depressions. Since the balancing no more DW. Easy fix. The right front seemed to be the one that made the big difference. I had put my spare on the right front, and had no DW. That's when I went for the balancing.
  7. I'm planning on doing the same swap on my 88, from what I've been told the columns in our trucks are the same as GM columns. I would think S-10, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
  8. Back in 1967 my date to report was Dec. 27. Got dropped off in L.A. by my dad at the induction center, about four hours later we were sworn in and told to go home and return on Jan. 5. I think that your going in during the holiday season has a lot to do with the changes. Just go with the flow and you'll be fine. Good Luck
  9. Very nice truck, my 88 has been in my family since new. My first car was a 66 GTO, bought it new, loved the restoration on yours. Swapped out the 389 for a 421. Traded it in for a VW Beetle in 68 after I got drafted, sad day. Don't see many original owner MJ's yours is really nice.
  10. I've got a similar problem, there are two lines at my firewall. A grey one and a white one, the white one runs over to the heater valve, does the grey one go to the heater control panel. Is that the one supplying the vacuum for the controls?
  11. Try flushing your radiator it did wonders for mine.
  12. I've heard that synthetic brake fluid will not eat up the fuse block. Can anyone confirm this.
  13. The BA10 in my 88 Pioneer has 265,000 miles on it. I off-road this truck, I don't beat it, haul some huge loads of firewood out of the forest with it. Like Eagle I had the fluid changed once at about 100,000. Can't remember when I checked it last, never has leaked a drop. Most of the stories you hear of unreliability are probably the guys that do some hardcore wheeling.
  14. Where are you located, the temperture might be an issue. Make sure your anti-freeze is alright. I hit a elk back in July, mine sat for about three and a half months. Got it going runs better than ever.
  15. Probably not, I do like the bumper though. If they would just step up and provide better service and communication, their products and prices are hard to beat.
  16. Well I received the bumper this morning, I must say this a quality product, I like that no fender trimming recquired, and it fits nicely against the flare. Only hitch they did'nt send the grade eight hardware I ordered.I can live with that.
  17. That looks good, I've communicated with Logans by e-mail since ordering, still waiting.
  18. You are lucky on getting your bumper. I ordered one the day before you did (Sept. 17) I'm still waiting.
  19. Update : The never ending drama continues. Bumper was supposed to ship yesterday, well I was hopeful. Got home from work, checked my e-mails for a tracking number, nothing. Came home tonight, nothing. Called Fed-Ex asked if they deliver without a tracking number. No. Asked if anything from East Butler, Pa. could by chance be heading my way. A package picked up today with a lable that said gopostalbutler. Figure that one out. He would'nt give me the tracking number, said the shipper had to supply it. Fat chance of that happening, but who knows, I'm the eternal optimist now after two months. I see a seller on e-bay is selling the same bumper again guarantees fast shipping. Probably them using a alias. Anyway what ever is heading this way is scheduled for delivery Wednesday. My fingers are crossed now.
  20. Update: Just received an e-mail from Jaime at Logans, she comes across nice as pie on the one phone call doing the order I had with her. Now she says she is going to get to the bottom of this with Fed-Ex, lol. She also wanted an address verification which is BS I don't know why they don't have it, and she said a bumper will be going out today, so who knows, I think it's just another stall tactic. Will update any news.
  21. My e-mail I sent last night to Logans after talking to Fed-Ex the gloves finally came off. Time to file a fraud report, maybe that will stir the pot some.
  22. Any club members ever bought from or had any dealings with this company. The reason I'm asking I ordered a front bumper from them on Sept. 17th. And have yet to receive it. The price and the look of the bumper was very good. After reading reviews of their track record of deliveries, most said slow service and poor customer service. Always reassuring to read these after they have your money. I asked one of their vendors on e-bay Sunday how long it took for him to ship on the same bumper, three days. Also in the same response he said he called Logans and they informed him they had no outstanding orders. Then out of the blue I finally get an e-mail from Logans saying they would call me this past Monday, but they were sure the bumper shipped a month ago. I e-mailed them back my phone number, which they requested, which they also should have had with the order. I also requested the tracking number from Fed-Ex. Well its Wednesday night no call, no e-mail, no tracking number. So sorry to be so long winded here but buyer beware. I called Fed-Ex. they have no record of any shipment. If any member is in the area of East Butler, Pa. I would gladly reimburse you for gas or time to stop by there and put a bug in their ear for me. PM me Thanks Steve
  23. Just got through installing a rear bumper on my shortbed Saturday. Super heavy duty and quality work, best buy out there in my opinion, and with the discount a no brainer.
  24. Safelite had the clips for my 88, I ended up going with the rubber trim.
