  1. I don't think there is a question here. I think this truck deserves to be fixed. Use car-part.com and collect the needed parts to fix it. Even buy an XJ if you have to. Remember, these old trucks are like legos. They were built to be fixed by a regular person. There aren't any specialty tools needed to do this, and you could probably do it in your driveway/garage/yard in a week or so if you work on it during nights and weekends.

Wow! That thing looks clean! Unless it was swapped in, you would have an AX-5, not an AX-15. What are the plans with it?
  3. Mmmmmmmmm, supercharger. I like it.
  4. Dang WI! We are supposed to get snow for a couple more hours (it’s been light to this point and is supposed to stay light). The plow truck just went by dropping a bunch of salt, straight salt. I was hoping to get my MJ about soon, but I guess now it’s sitting for a week at least or until we get a rain.
  5. If you want inexpensive, you need to DIY. I have some bodywork and rust repair tips in the DIY section!
  6. I moved it! Still no clutch or brakes, but at least it runs (sometimes).
  7. All J20s were LWBs. Honchos were only J10 SWBs the ad is wrong.
  8. Big lift and tires will only exaggerate your issues.
  9. That would be fun to have!
  10. Found it! https://comancheclub.com/topic/63370-good-replacement-for-renix-relay-cover-retainers/?tab=comments#comment-684174
  11. @JMO413found a solution. Let me try to find the thread. It was just bumped recently.
  12. I was surprised at how much it cleaned up the front.
  13. This is the truth. Throw some torx in there and you’re in for a real fun time. Gotta go with French toast. JL pr JK?
  14. I know that you have an electric fuel pump on hand, but if you truly want old school, is there any way you could run a mechanical pump? Personally, I prefer a manual fuel pump with carbs anyways.
  15. Without almonds Standard or Metric?
  16. Thank you! It did wonders for it in person! The wet sanding also took of the rust stains, so the truck looks much better now!
  17. That is one fiiiinnnnneeee looking truck!
  18. Yeah, those and the flares need their annual coat of Mother’s Back to Black.
  19. No, there wasn’t enough room to get a good pic, there were about 3 feet between the front of the truck and the back of my dad’s YJ. I also grabbed this pic when unloading the truck.
  20. We wet sanded this today to bring some of the old paint back. It’s hard to tell in pics. We also painted the grille/headlight bezels. Before wet sand: After: Grille before and after:
  21. More stuff! I emptied the bed and installed the KSuspension headlight relay harness along with some Hello e-code housings and H4 bulbs. They are BRIGHT!! where I have the relays mounted, the hood prop rod rests on top of them and still clears the hood
  22. I was just messaging eaglescout526 about this earlier—my NOS parking brake release handle.
