Desperate To Cure Death Wobble
MancheKid86 replied to Project Comanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
it will mask d/w if the tires are somewhat balanced, i will also agree with you you can still have it with the stab on, because i have had it with the stab as well (my issue was glycol filled tires, that have been balanced, but up to speed dynamic balance was no there because of the offset in weight) theres nothing above stated about your rotors, my 40' tires will get d/w at 65 km/hr when the rotor is warped above or below is fine check em out? also, the tire shop can balance a tire, but if the tire has bulged, even though it is balanced, up to speed it can become dynamically unbalanced, and a bump can send it into an uncontrollable oscillation *EDITS* how is your track bar bracket to the frame? it likes to loosen and that causes loads of fun -
i have people waiting around, long chats, leaving notes, getting called out :) last night i backed up a hill and parked my jeep pretty so the front bumper was almost kissin the ground, took me 20 mins before i could leave to go to the bonfire

makes people move their asses out of my way, fast for that matter too here's a question why not? is that that repulsive? people do full smoke outs on lights all the time just preference of the person who owns their rig and only if your an idiot and cake the stuff on so you can't see through the lens still then it will limit the function of the headlights, if you just dust a coat on it doesnt affect them one bit what so ever

. :MJ 2: . so, bout time for an update started by swapping the tires from 33's to the 36's that are supposed to be on then came some angry eyes ( i did not do a full shade, just enough to be seen, ****does not affect vision of headlights what so ever****) some maint + hooking up wiper jets then it was time for a Flex test, not even at full bump! hahahah little while later after a bunch of snow wheeling i snapped 2 chromollys at the same time so replacement shaft comes, without the necessary hole in the shaft's flange drilling through chromolly 3 hours of straight drilling later!!! the most recent is this, 36's tore a bead so for $600 for 5 40" tires i couldnt pass it up moved onto 40's and ready for leaf pack swap! 40 vs 36! after some trimming and hacking of bushwackers they fit higher! torchin bushings out, will be putting these in next week now some wheelin pics and carnage (havent tested the 40's out yet) more to come!! . :MJ 1: .

Since there is output in the alternator it is now self sustainable, the rpms and emf will produce enough current to run the truck and recharge the battery, there is also the fsct that it is wired in wirh a volatage regulator, Making this safe to do, no volatge regulator and youll fry stuff even with a battery

its grown up since i last checked it out! those headlights are siiiick -
don't go too slow on hills, but don't skinny pedal up either if you slide, let the truck grab itself, do not stomp on the brakes drifting in winter is hella fun!

deff control arm issue with the knocking noises, my shimmable lca mounts (inner bracket to lca frame side) became elongated and would slap back and forth opening the hole bigger over time and wearing out bushings if the steering wheel is shaking you have an imbalance in the front end, check your tires for balance have someone go in the truck and spin the wheel left to right, and watch all the steering components and see if there is any play

swap the proportioning valve at the same time, youll have full lock up in the rear too early otherwise iirc

Transmission Clacking Under Load/acelleration
MancheKid86 replied to MancheKid86's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
i would be down for all the hating and stabbing, except, i did not have a 100 post thread of why is it doing it? i found the problem, and no ones input was the solution also, i would be down for all the hating and stabbing if i sat on it, and didnt replace it, and wondered why it made that noise, i expected issues with the truck, i didnt give a .... what shape it was in, i wanted it, and yes I'm reaping the benifets... or lack there of, i have replace all 4 rotors, ebrake calipers, all 4 pads, installed a washer fluid res vac res new knuckles spindles hubs locking hubs coils 3 u joints axle stub shafts heim joint fixed all the electrical issues front driveshaft parts alignment fluids ect... and so on and so forth so don't give me this piss and moan $#!&.
