I hear you on that. at no point in my history have I ever thought, "gee I wish this drill had more power" but rather it was always: the batteries finally died and there were deals on the next step up. thankfully the manufacturers have finally more or less settled on a voltage so we can all start collecting cool tools without fear of them being tossed aside for an extra volt or 2.

it has to. in fact any suspension link will move in an arc because it has one firm point of attachment. but in regards to the track bar, the left-to-right movement is fairly minimal in a stock suspension. the flatter the track bar (as defined be drawing a line between the two attachment points), the less the axle will move laterally.

it had to do with the powershot series. from my tiny bit of research it appears that the threshold for "enough voltage to allow the camera to continue functioning" changes over time somehow. maybe it's barely adequate from the start and then a tiny bit of resistance drops it under the software's line of no return? I dunno, but I found the solution... MORE POWER!!!
