  1. sounds like you need some new coils. also, I would upgrade the lower arms to WJ arms while you're at it.
  2. keep us posted!
  3. when it comes down to it, most any bucket seat can work for you with a little 1x1 square tubing to make an adapter. don't feel that you're limited to MJ/XJ stuff.
  4. wow. literally on the wheel itself. they ain't kidding around with covering their butts.
  5. I keep updating that link and they keep selling out so I gae up and it's just an example now
  6. whatever you choose to go with, if you can make it fit and work, it's all good. you might get some friendly jabs, but we're all MJ lovers here and creativity is the spice of life. I went with old Ford axles just to make a project out of it. but fair warning, in my 20 years of being in the online Jeeping community I've seen a lot of the more creative engine swaps loose steam and never get finished because there were just more engineering hurdles than the owner wanted to deal with. but I'm happy to lend any assistance I can to make it happen.

    "The Middle"

"truth" is just a word and it can mean various things, from the laws of physics, to how to raise a child. there is wiggle room on a lot of things that different people would consider a truth. unless we're talking about politicians makings stuff up to suit their own agenda.

the inability to even try to understand another point of view knows no age limits. (this is completely separate from agreement or compromise)
  9. 84-95 XJ seats with the straight slider will bolt right to the Comanche's floor brackets. MJ buckets and MJ benches have the same floor brackets. seats with the curved slider will also bolt on, but will raise you up a couple inches.
  10. is it an 86? possibly added by me?
  11. the bullet points are Tom Aslith created a yahoo group back in like 98 for MJ owners. yahoo groups were basically a way to send mass emails back and forth to others in the group (the internet was still rather young back then, nothing like today). the platform worked ok if you have just a few members, but had severe limitations once it grew. I discovered it maybe 5 months after creation and jumped right in tot he addiction. a year or 2 later out of the blue Tom asked me if I want to take the reigns. he was selling his truck and getting out of the whole thing (pretty sure it was health reasons but I cannot remember for sure). of course I jumped at that opportunity! fast forward to I think 05? and we had clearly outgrown the yahoo groups so I set about finding a free forum software. I bought ourselves a little corner of the internet and with the help of all you guys/gals, here we are today.

if you're new to MJs, this is the thread I suggest reading first
  13. that part of the firewall by the booster should be identical.
  14. the metric ton package could be added to any long bed MJ regardless of trim package.
  15. It looks like you've put that liner to good use. very innovative! in regards to the spare tire holding things down, "somewhat" is the key word as you know. I had the liner for my trailer sucked out along with the spare tire the very first trip on the freeway. air pressure is a powerful force. thankfully I was able to retrieve the liner never saw a trace of the tire though. (lost in the brush off the freeway)
  16. my suggestion is to replace the torx bolts with grade 8 studs. that was they can work as a guide upon re-installation.
  17. no hurries. but we'll be waiting. the addiction is real

that aspect is going to take a bit more time to..... well, I'm not actually sure how to finish that thought. it certainly complicates things when interacting with people that believe the lies of politicians (and they all lie, some more than others). have patience and let the system work and maybe things will get better with time. let me put it this way, I have 0 faith in any individual in the system, but I have faith in the system to work itself out. generally this involves pendulum swings back and forth, but we always push forward and are better overall than we were before. eventually.

I think Jeep's point of the ad was for everyone to chill out and stop seeing people on the other side of an issue as an "enemy". disagreement can exist without anger. but not if we let ourselves get continually riled up by the powers that be and the talking heads that benefit/profit from our anger.

if we included those guys I'm guessing the middle might be somewhere in the pacific ocean.
  21. my suggestion is to make one for yourself (for both practice and to show off your skills), then make another and offer it up for sale at a price you think is fair to yourself to gauge interest. as far as businesses go, it's hard to go right from "made one for myself" to "taking orders", especially with something that labor intensive.
  22. maybe, maybe not. it's hard to say without seeing it. but personally I've not been much of a fan of the color matched wheels that I've see on other rigs.
  23. I bear no responsibility for knowing that level of detail for cars made before I was born. give me a quiz on 80s and 90s cars.
  24. sounds like a winner
  25. what specific aspects make this a 91+ only item? i.e. what part doesn't fit the renix trucks? https://trailheadoffroad.com/product/cherokee-comanche-intake-kit91-01-with-pre-filter/
