  1. yup, there is no one-stop shopping (yet). google maps can help find local junkyards. car-part.com help find used parts too. Key-Parts should be added to the list for sure, as they have rockers, floor pans, and soon will have tails and I heard rumors of bedside patches in the works.

    why?
  3. what's TB's Gordita count as? whatever it is, I pick that one. gimme more of that soft bread! roller coaster park or water park?
  4. sleep is overrated...
  5. I promise, my 4.0 does not do that. I would have noticed that years ago. when the power is cut, it stops in roughly the same amount of rotation and since the power can be cut at any time, that means the stopping point must be different each time. I might buy it for a modern engine though, where the computer has absolute control over things and can cut power at the same time each time.
  6. all I know is that no engine I've ever worked on has been in the same place when I go to find TDC. maybe they were referring to modern engines with the quick-startup feature.
  7. how much trimming are you willing to do? are you regearing the axles?
  8. get stainless whenever possible
  9. wait, what? why or how could an older engine even do that?

  11. competition breeds advancements. I do wonder if Chevy has anything brewing.
  12. technically it's not all that difficult since it all bolts in, but the short answer is that you'll be more or less completely gutting your truck and replacing it with everything from an XJ.
  13. park hopping is indeed back. current rules are that you can hop starting at 2pm and only if there is availability under the cap (but we were there on "sold out" days and had no trouble hopping). if you haven't done Rise of the Resistance, you'll want to put that on your must-do list.
  14. 7 more posts and the classifieds will open up to you.
  15. the link in my sig should have links to PDFs of the factory shop manuals
  16. those teeth look just fine to me. they don't need to look new to be perfectly usable.
  17. I think maybe Mini missed one of his meds yesterday.
  18. we've been down several times now since the reopening and we always have a great time. the biggest thing to get used to is you have to properly wear a mask everywhere that's not your room/car, in a pool, at a "relaxation station", or while actively eating (while both stationary and distanced). if it's summertime, carry extra masks with you so you can swap them out as the day goes on. And bring your patience pants, as there are no fast passes at the moment so you'll need to stand in the lines old-school style. the lines will seem super long due to the distancing requirements, but the wait times seem fairly accurate so that 5 mile long line for Tower of Terror really is only 45 minutes if that's what it says. read up on tips for getting your Rise of the Resistance virtual line passes, as they go in seconds and you want to be ready at exactly 7am. most every counter service restaurant uses mobile ordering which is a fantastic upgrade. food booths still have regular lines. but honestly, August is so far away that they might loosen the rules by then (now that the vaccine rollout is in full swing).
  19. I get the impression that the second half of his post was a quote from an interaction with youtube or someone on youtube?
  20. we're all still waiting on finding someone that's willing to push for replication of the side skirts.
  21. I'm confused as to what is happening
  22. I was in Disney last week, and my body is still in its stupid punishment (recovery) phase after too much exertion, so nothing has happened. It's going to be a few days before I feel up to furthering the "Jeep Life".
  23. do you have the braces underneath? this is a pic of an MJ that did not have the extra rollbar braces. the braces bolt to those holes
