day late, dollar short, but my 88 runs spools front and rear. it is NOT advised. straight line traction is insane. everything else sucks. and I mean everything else.
soak them every day for a week. they are decent size bolts, but rust is rust.
half are studs, half are nuts. all are on the bed, meaning the frame is just a pass through hole.
the thought has previously occurred to me that if a member volunteered to provide room, I could drop off items at a semi-centralized location that could later be picked up at the buyer's leisure. problem with that is I strongly prefer to be there when the buyer takes possession. these are all used parts after all. there are reasons I don't sell on ebay.

so one would just need the different sending unit and tocut off that vent tube to gain a ton of gas capability? or skip the sending unit and just have a "full" tank for a long time before it started registering on the gauge. this seems too easy...
the big question is, do they actually have one or is that something you find out as you try to buy and then it says out of stock.
any muffler shop can fab up what you need.
chances are good that brand new springs will sit a bit higher than you want until they break in.
I would go with the 3.5 and if later down the road you need a bump in the back, add the longer shackles.
